Just my opinion but get what you mean too.
For me it depends on what's been mutually agreed.
I previously had a woman who pre-retirement said that she was leaving broader sex work, but was informing some regulars that she was still available for occasional fun and extra cash if it could be accommodated in her new circumstances. That felt fine as her wishes were clear and further contact was welcomed. It also set different expectations on her availability.
Without that agreement and consent I wouldn't spontaneously contact a woman who'd stopped advertising, as I wouldn't know what motivated her decision or anything about her current circumstances.
If she intends to return then she knows how to advertise that.
