Cutting My Blue Friends

Been using 50mg tabs for a while, tremendous results.

If  I could cut them in half it would be super, and I will probably order a special pill cutter on my next order.

In the mean time any hints or tips on cutting the tabs, a kitchen or Stanley knife seem like a good option but I am such a ham fisted bugger

I've cut 50s into four, it does work.

I'm sure you can use razor blades etc but a pill cutter is far more accurate and you can store the halves/quarters in it.

I'd have thought sparkies side cutters would be far safer than arsing about with a razor blade

I bite them in half. They two sides are not always exactly equal but it always works out OK.

I just use a small sharp kitchen knife,place the knife on it and push down.never had a problem yet

I just use a Stanley knife with a brand new blade, push on pill gently and they cut easily

I used to bite them in half. The last batch of punting biscuits I got from Asda are different from any I've seen before - even though they're generic Viagra, they're blue in colour, oblong in shape, wide and relatively thin. They snap in half very easily and always in the middle. It's like they were designed for splitting

I am always amazed that they manage to get the right amount of active ingredient mixed in with the bulking up stuff in each tablet, I sometimes worry that it might all be in the other half ,but I suppose they must know what they are doing. I get the Sandoz brand, pre cut so break into 2 or 4 even no trouble ..

I use a pair of sharp scissors, cut using the centre rather than the tip of the blades. To prevent the pill flying off, cut them inside a small bag, like a bank coin bag. No need for pill cutters, and a pair of scissors wont look suspicious.

If the tablet in question is scored, then you're probably better off trying to snap it in half.

Asda pharmacy sells dinky pill cutter for £2. It's normally on a carousel thingy. It's a sort if guillotine and container in one. I did use a Stanley knife before I had the pill cutter but there was a bit of crumbling and I felt like a coke head trying to gather up all the bits.......
