Using your analogy, I have sympathy if your phone gets stolen. However, if you then leave your phone on view in your car in the same place, within a very short space of time since it was stolen before, and it gets stolen again by the same people, my sympathy is diminished. Normally people learn from the first time round, don't make the same mistake twice. That doesn't mean I exonerate the crims. I just think you're silly for repeating the same mistake.
As the old saying goes: "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."
But none of that detracts from the very obvious fact which I pointed out by posting her FB in my first post on this thread, that the lady in question has a history of being flaky and unprofessional.
From zero sympathy to sympathy diminished. I think you're getting the gist now.
The analogy was just that and not something worth running with. Yes he's silly, but you don't know what has gone on behind the scenes with apologies and promises made and the such. And she clearly is a "specialist" prossie and one who, if you seek her services, will be hard pressed to find elsewhere.
Your opinion, that he deserves zero sympathy and not criticising the prossie, belongs on %%% in my view.
