The problem with exogenous testosterone supplementation is the negative side effects, the major ones being testicular shrinkage and aromatisation to excess oestrogen.  Even with HCG, testicular shrinkage can still be an issue.

I agree there can be lots of issues — as with almost anything: but in my view they are very over-hyped.

At NHS prices it’s about £50 a month — massively inflated if private — yet many studies (in my opinion) convincingly suggest it could benefit thousands of men especially as they get into their later years.

Family Chemist 20% off stopped?

eg for 64x100mg
Family Chemist quoting 70.99
Menschem with standard 15% off comes to 66.99

not a lot of difference though.

But if FamilyChemist was giving 20% off 70.99 that would be a decent bargain
(by my calculation, 56.79, ten quid cheaper than Menschem).

Still a bit of a rip-off when the NHS indicative price (eg Accord) appears to be less than a tenth of that.

Family chemist code: 'MAIL20'.  Looks like there's a £30 spend for the discount now.

Tip for guys making first purchase; Buy the 100mg sildenafil or 20mg Tadalafil (and buy a pill splitter).    I usually email or call the chemist to check what brands they have that are 'pre-scored'.

My sildenafil brand observations.  They may have the same active ingredients (bulking agents may differ);
Torrent - Avoid. Perhaps I got bad batch? Weak.
Amorox or Accord - OK
Mylan - my preferred but they're not pre-scored.

Indeed. It seems they don’t care or know if codes are being shared. You could say bulk purchases are needed for it to make it worth really worth it I suppose.

Btw Accord aren’t scored. But they can be broken in half with reasonable approximation and a bit of practice. I tried pill-cutters once but found them a bit messy, two ‘halves’ and crumbs in between. Useful I suppose for round tablets that can’t easily be broken by hand. Just my thoughts.

Which makes it quite expensive compared to the prices 3 or 4 posts above unless there is further discount for a larger quantity.

Buy the 100mg tabs and spilt them.  Cost per mg will be halved compared to 50mg.
Just tightly wrap the unused half in cling film, should be fine for a few weeks.

to complete my info for 100mg tabs:

Amorox = Round Pre-scored to spilt in half.
Torrent = Round Pre-scored to spilt in half.  (*the brand I try avoid)
Accord = Unscored. Almond shaped, not easy to spilt 50/50.
Mylan = Round Unscored

I’ve forgotten. But would you like to include that they offer free postage (as does M)?

Anyone looking to go large and buy 64 tabs?
iqdoctor 50% off using code FIRST50.  Free shipping for orders over £30.  64x 100mg tabs = £40.

I bought from them earlier in the year.  Pretty sure I called them to ask about the brand and eventually spoke to someone.

Offline Marmalade

Very interesting. Let’s keep the info guys.
Note some distributors charge for postage and/or consultation, usually ones to be avoided.
If the price wars continue maybe companies’ll start selling at a realistic price!!

What brand did you end up buying from them?, trying to get ahold of the Teva brand as i feel they work the best for me, they say they can source them for me for the same price as the accord but cant give me a expiry date until i place an order, dont want to end up buying 64 pills that expire within the year :unknown:

Offline FiveKnuckles

What brand did you end up buying from them?

I bought 'Accord' sildenafil and Tadalafil from iqdoc.

Didn't notice any difference between Teva and Accord branded Tadalafil.  They ran out of Mylan when I placed my order, else I'd had got a box to test.

If they're ordering in for you, get 1 Mylan, 1 accord and the rest your favourite brand.

i.e. near to where you live??
That might be asking a bit much.

Menschen will send it to an address of your choice. I think that would probably include a P.O. box. r get it sent to a mate's.

Offline MrBamboo

Just get it sent to a nearby drop off point..a shop /petrol  station. Google the courier they use
and it will tell you the nearest one to whatever postcode you put in.

My iqdoc order was sent by DPD.  You can ask them to ship to a pickup point, or during transit, have it redirected.  *It's probably safer to call through and speak with someone to avoid having your address on the parcel. Sods law!

Now the big question,. Where you going to hide boxes of pills?  :unknown:

A good point I guess, and that I don’t think has been raised before.

Obviously decant them into a medicine bottle. You can buy one for a few pence at the chemist. You would do that to make your meds easier to carry about. But if that’s the case avoid the Accord brand as they do look bright blue, very like the original Viagra.

Update on my order, managed to get 64 100mg Teva brand Sildenafil from Iqdoctor for £40 delivered, if any of you are wanting the Teva brand you need to email them first saying so and they ship from their supplier, expiry is 12/2023 so well chuffed :drinks:

NHS indicative price is £0.94 for 4 tablets (Teva) so nothing stopping them selling them at £40 for 64, rather than making the normal extortionate profits, but what was in your email to get them at half the advertised price of generics?

Ginger's post suggests a thought...

With so many brands it can be hard to keep track of them. There might not be much difference in effect, but some people might find a preference in packaging or appearance.

These Accord sildenafilones are easy to recognise based on their shape and colour similarity with Viagra brand.
For some that would be a disadvantage (if you don't want them to be recognisable by an o/h).
For others an advantage as they are easy to remember (for instance if you take them out of the packet).
The packaging is compact but protects them well. Some people feel they are less easy to split on account of the shape.

From memory, I think most original cialis brand tablets are closer to the shape of Viagra.
Most brands of tadalaifil (generic cialis) I've come across have a similar yellow colour but have rounded-oblong shape (some fakes also have that shape).
Accord tadalafil is fairly standard:                          .......Mylan tadalafil is apparently round:
