I'm a very risk averse punter nowadays, so would much rather take a known WG than risk a local pimp. Not to mention the legalities in some countries, for example the USA where local police actively try and sting punters in hotel bars etc.

I've always had a good time taking WG's abroad, but they've been regulars with very low risk of going wrong.

agree but my context is europe and SE asia china. USA its a no no and while the guy in question is an idiot he should have assessed the risk of success as very low. I have used concierges in hotels to arrange for just a few euros and resulta hve been good and in some countries where prostitution is ilegal it still can be arranged through agencies. As with any booking, you need to do as much due diligence as possible. And if that means getting to know them - as well as any punter gets to know any SP - by booking them a time or two before suggesting the trip, then so be it.

Many years ago I went on a package skiing holiday in France with Club Med.  The hotel was quite fancy and one group stood out like a sore thumb - the two Russian guys who bought hookers with them for their ski week.  From the outside the girls looked a *complete* nightmare; absolutely no interest in skiing, trying to get the guys to take them shopping and buy them presents, getting drunk and acting stroppy when they were not getting their way.  The group lasted about 4 days and fucked off before the end of the week. 

It is very easy to forget having handed over your money that it is all an act and you have relatively little idea of the real personality of the SP you are dealing with.

Having been to places like Mayhofern, Courchavel etc, yes there are Russians, and other EEs, there who are are there with their bratty trophy wives who want lunch in the VIP areas of mountain restaurants where Petrus is 1000 Euros  a bottle and the seats are covered in deer skin before they take the cable car down the mountain to go shopping.

How do do you know they are married couples?  Simple, they are wearing the same brand, expensive, naff  designer ski wear, rather than the old classic, but sensible, jackets you would find blokes like me in.

Most of the Ski Bunnies are EE afaict - but searching for likely terms will certainly throw up a number of other sites.  I'd tend to recommend against it for the reasons above.

There used to be some (now sadly defunct) agencies in EE that specialised in girls for trade shows/expos who would also provide something extra in the evening -- that worked well as you got a read on the girl during the day, and at the time there were EE-grads who saw turning tricks as a short term funding thing to get through uni rather than a long term lifestyle and so had a refreshingly non-jaded attitude.
