Ive been to platinum lace once (before Covid) and its totally different to the Axe.  Its not a million miles from Browns in terms of set up, quality of girls etc.

Dances were £20 at Platinum but no contact at all between stripper and punter (they dance very close but careful not to touch you). 

The place itself is also very different - far nicer inside with a reasonable amount of seating.  Slightly bigger as well.

The girls are definitely hotter than Axe.

I never returned to Platinum as found the experience a bit frustrating - Axe was definitely more fun.

If your transactional relationship at the Axe was based on touching, then even she could expect that to continue at the new place, she’s not stupid. Went to the Nags Head last week, which may be a replacement for the Axe. The girls in there varied but that was also the case in the Axe, though overall axe was a bit better, but that could just be the day/time I went. Some real hefty girls and one that was kind of old, mid 40s at least. But there were a couple of hot girls (body wise more than facially) and 1 or 2 that were fairly attractive.

It might get a drinks licence but the council seem keen to drive adult entertainment venues out of the area so I think it's unlikely. I doubt it, been a clean up of Hackney, Shoreditch and Bethnal Green for years, bit by bit eating away at vice, the old type area accepted it, the new money will not.
Old licenses will survive for a while, unless they give reason to lose it, but the Council want them gone and they will win in the end to a large extent.

At the end, she asked me if I wanted to go longer - usually I never do this, but this dance was out of this world, though I was out of cash - but luckily the club accepted card payments, for a 4GBP fee, which seemed reasonable to me, so I was all too happy to get a second round.
During that second dance, I was really hoping she would offer another more private dance - again, something I usually wouldn't go with at all, but by God, she was too good. I went recently.£20 entry,£7 bottle of lager.Very small bar area & very few seats so it must be very cramped if it gets busy.Dance is £30 but no touching either from you or the girl.They did seem pretty strict on that.About 8 girls were working, average looking.But some of them were a bit on the pushy side.

It quite likely was the battery, even if the car was turning over, the systems shut down below a certain point and the car will not start.

Most non starting problems, even automatic gearbox problems, warning lights, are often down to an old or less than optimum battery.

First point of checking if your car is behaving oddly, might help a few
