As an economic observer and general gadfly, I do try to spot trends before they become mainstream.  I would hazard a guess that with the Greek economy going from 'quite nasty' to 'rather awfully grim' - one would see more Greek WGs in London earning hard cash.  I haven't seen this yet - am I wrong?  If Greece gets hairy, will London punting also get correspondingly hairy?

Hungary is an equally conservative country, and so is Albania - but we have plenty of girls from those countries.  At some point the financial choice is too good to ignore.

I'd give it a go myself to be honest - but I'd like to have the right to refuse customers and I'd probably refuse about 95% of them.  I would also be very rough on clients who are late or who cancel at short notice (Translation: I would kick their asses and slap some common sense into them).   And my working hours would be very very unpredictable depending on when the mood takes me and when I can get away with it.  My Profile would be extremely brief and I would not write a blog.  I would not do any pro-bono work.

I dont consider Greece to be particularly conservative, much less so than other EU states (this is my experience only, most of my travel has been for business/golf/sailing). I have often got the feeling the Greeks think Greece is too good to leave. I cant see it myself though

Yes for a few years numerous Hungarian/Romanian pornstars did tour Greece regulary, charging €300 a hour, because there was plenty of €uros floating about, example when a Athens bus driver earns over €700 a week, as a escort you'd have to have bricks in your head to tour Greece.
