One of the c*nt faces on the panel on Question Time last week (either the UKIP c*ntychops or the Tory one) said that prostitution has exploded in Greece in recent times. This leads me to believe it's more worthwhile for them to remain in Greece where they'll do a roaring trade with tourists and where the cost of living is much lower (I assume) than somewhere like London or Munich/Frankfurt.
Lewis Hamilton's ex is on a Greek island at the moment celebrating her birthday and attending the opening of a bar or club or something, which I initially found odd given what we see on the news. So I think there are two sides to the story in Greece and we're only shown the real side, the other side is a mix of rich Greeks and tourists/expats living it large on the islands.
Over the years I've also noticed that a great deal of porn star escorts spend time in Greece flouting their wares. There's money there, especially now everyone has withdrawn their savings from banks and need cheering up. Apparently Greek people, on average, have more cash in hand (and not in a bank) now than any other country in the EU.
