Amateur Porn Shoot

Unusual punt, if I can call it that. I wanted something more adventurous than the usual escort scene and landed on the amateur porn shoot recruitment website. Filled in a quick online form and in a couple of days had a call from an Eastern European woman asking me to attend an interview / casual chat. They claim that their movies are only available in hotels and not on the internet. Hard to tell but I couldn't fins any under the up4it banner.

I'm meeting them next week where I expect them to take a few photos and try and charge me a £150 odd for a portfolio with the promise of featuring in shoots. Not enough reviews out there.

Does anyone have any experience / knowledge of this? I'll post a further update after i meet them next week.

Sounds like a scam. In the normal modelling industry (for women) it's a common tactic to charge for a portfolio and promise work later. The work never comes. Google it.

Other reasons it's likely to be a scam:
- They have an excuse for why you've never heard of them and can't find their work on the internet. To be fair it is a half-decent excuse but it is rather convenient and it contradicts my next point.
- They claim to be able to pay above the market rate for performers because they're successful. However the porn market in general is not doing that well and I'm sure the "hotel rental" market is particularly bad nowadays. Who the fuck pays for porn in a hotel when it's free on the internet (often free Wi-Fi) and you can get a real girl to come to you in the hotel for not that much more!
- While porn companies do need to recruit new male talent, this is not the best way to go about it and nor, as you can imagine, is it hard to find guys who would be willing to do it.
- A bit of a racist final point but while it is good that you got to speak to a woman - she was Eastern European. If their typical attitude to punters is anything to go by (from WG's), then they're more likely to be a scammer than a British woman. To be fair that is harsh and it does also depend on where exactly in EE they're from but still, crime stats don't lie (much). Also, if they do get caught, they're likely to be able to flee back home where they're a lot less likely to be hunted down.

Basically, if they want any money up front - walk away. I know it might not sound like a huge scam but if they do it to a few people it soon adds up - kind of like private gallery scams (but obviously better).

Cheers Nigel, yes agree, it does sound like a scam. They offer £40ph for guys and £150ph for women so probably standard price. Just want to see how the conversation goes and if they go about asking for the money. Paying nothing upfront. To be fair, quite a decent effort on the webpage.

Yes I agree about the webpage. I wasn't sure if they'd already asked you for money or you suspected they would (although re-reading your post it is clear that that's just what you expected). If you have the spare time and can be bothered with it (and also don't mind any photos you do submit potentially ending up on the net), it might be worth pursuing, if only for a laugh.

I saw a similar thing on the bbc but it was for a HR job.
It's usually some banana republic guy.
Maybe the police take it less seriously because it's porn.

Great links there guys. It's also the reason why I said earlier that if you do submit any photos (or have any taken) that you need to be prepared for them to be on the net, as it's likely a good blackmail tool (the application form requires photos including face). Indeed that was one of the things they tried to do.

I think that's put an end to whether this is a scam or not. Although to be fair no one really thought it wasn't, it was more a matter of how they would do it, not if.

Thanks for sharing James. Although I don't agree those who get scammed are necessarily idiots. The con artists are just getting better and invest a lot more in making the scam seem legitimate.

To be fair, while they may not be full blown idiots, they are at best very naive and rather ignorant of fairly obvious facts (about porn and frankly life). As such these kind of people are always going to be more susceptible to above-board advertising all the way to con artists and it is hard to feel a lot of sympathy for them (it's also worth remembering that they boost the economy by quite a bit). Although I do of course draw the line at blatant and repeated deception and hence do feel some sympathy as opposed to those who buy a useless product because it looked good on the telly.

It is almost certain it is a scam using ancient method. But you will not know this unless you want to face the sword first and see what  happen. As other have said, you have a lot to loose e.g the pictures could be used to blackmail you, sold to other websites without your knowledge and you get nothing in return. Also they might ask for free shagging in the next step and the iteration will start again like photo shooting, e.g advance fee, free shagging, etc.

Taking such considerate risk will only worthy if the chance of getting future gain is quite high and / or the gain is extremely huge. That is as I understand most of the photo models are doing in their early career.

What future gain you will get by relying into this porn shooting compared to go to well known  porn production house .

These scam motive has been known for ages it is called "advanced fee and/or Up-front payment" ..
I never heard any credible porn production house ask for Up-front payment. The most they will ask is free shagging and/or shooting.

Why do you want to stick to this unknown porn shooting, why not stick to the well known  porn production house which produce porn movie, pictures regularly ??

For experience, there are reasonable number of swingers clubs available. Few of swingers clubs, night club will do shooting occasionally where people especially the girls could get paid ...

However what I was seeking is the 'real' porn star experience as it would be adventurous and not up to the girl's mood on the day. All that for a 150 odd quid is not such a bad deal. If you consider the sugarbabes site where you are potentially paying upwards of £300 with some porn bird with a fucked up attitude, in my mind that's a pretty bad rip off.

I obviously have no doubt that this particular 'agency' is probably a scam in the sense there won't be a future jobs but didn't know if they do 'trial runs'. Also I may be lucky and may walk into an shoot in progress. Plan really is to play along till such point that the upfront payment is requested and oops I've forgotten my wallet!

Hi Jerboa, yes, I have been to LMP about 5-6 times and the audience (as well as the weirdo staring at me when i was pounding away on the sex swing) did not really bother me one bit, surprisingly. Done some filming with an escort but she kept complaining about what she would and would not do... waste of the additional £50. This is more a fantasy shag as I don't have to rely on the girl having a mood and some of the positions e.g. DT are not usually offered despite advertising PSE.

Many have mentioned Germany as the place to fulfil fantasies. I think I'll read up on your reviews and plan a visit. What is the boy/girl ratio like?

I can confirm this is a scam. Signed up for the crack of it. Once i received the details in the post i found out you have to pay them a deposit and then for your audition you have to pay them to film that as well!

I am a pro photographer. Never ever pay an agency you may somtimes pay the tog for taking the pics or they may pay you to model or its a mutual agreement its called TFP meaning trade for pics. you pose and tog gives you pictures but never pay an agency

It sounds like the male equivalent of the model scam exposed many times on TV ripping off young girls. They charge hundreds of pounds for an awful portfolio and tell you to wait at home while the "work" piles in. Obviously never to be heard from again.
