Communicating positions

Just wondering how you guys go about phrasing what you want, I've always (luckily) had natural flowing punts (besides one occasion) where things haven't been mechanical and everything synced perfectly via body language wise, same with past girlfriends etc.

The one occasion I pretty much just used the word to get it across, instead of a phrase (bearing in mind she was polish with poor english).

Just tell her what you want to do next - it's that simple.  It's not as if you're going to shock her with a proposition she's never heard before.

I flip her into the position i want.

I normally just ask them nicely.
But you could always try taking a pack of flash cards along with you, and holding up the one showing the next position you want.
