Ah yes, that long-awaited series. There's a thread on here about it already I think.

My box is set to record them all.

I think they had researchers lurking on here and the other forum, so it'll be interesting to see what info they acquired from their lurking they actually use on the programme.

Both forums may also see an increase in new sign ups following the TV exposure.

Given his track record of documentaries which have led to subsequent falls from grace (Savile, Clifford, Hamilton...) perhaps we should be worried?

Perhaps.

There may be some discussion of how SPs advertise and there may be some mention of forums like this one.  They might show screens, photos and perhaps some of the topics people discuss on the forums.  However, I think the majority will be on the SPs they worked with on the programme.  There are links to newspaper articles on them not being happy with the programme. How much of their unhappiness is true and how much is marketing for the programme we will have to see.

However I think you can still see reviews without logging in.

Indeed.

Quite correct - I often just "look in" without logging in, then only log in if I want to post.

However, with the plethora of weird and wonderful pseudonyms (and some of masterful originality) I would think that (the Beeb being `the Beeb`) the programme will be so boring that listeners or viewers will be more amused by the pseudonyms themselves than particularly interested in any of the actual posts.

And unless (and indeed, even if) the Met. were to devote all of its resources, I doubt that the user names here are very likely to be tracked back to their owners.

Offline sparkus

There's a "UKP exposed" web article which focuses not on actual transactions with WGs, but an Off Topic thread about civvies where I'd kicked off about something which happened (or, more to the point didn't) with a neighbour when I was 17...  :dash:

That's the shit what floats people's boats in the straight world.

It's maybe changed in the planning stage but the programme was also looking at the porn industry.
Heard it from a porn star I met in a bar at Stanstead departures .

Legally participating? I know its ambiguous but can't imagine WG's selling sex being described as legal by the BBC?  Is it going to focus more on camming and stuff?

Offline winkywanky

Prostitution is legal, why do you think the BBC would say it was illegal?

They may be a bit preachy sometimes but they wouldn't just lie.

The UK porn industry is so cheesy and bad.  That should be a very short programme.

It happens.  I bumped into Jesse Jane once at Heathrow. She was on the same flight as me to Berlin.  She was flying over for the Venus show.

I wonder if it'll cause any mobile phone or broadband providers to block sites.

Louis Theroux - Selling Sex

Contains some strong language, some sexual content and some upsetting scenes.
The exchange of sex for money is legal in Britain, so long as it doesn’t involve coercion, exploitation, or any kind of public nuisance. Now, fuelled by websites and social media, a new economy has emerged – bringing a world of transactional sex to people who might never have previously considered it.

Bafta Award-winning film-maker Louis Theroux returns to the UK to meet women legally providing sexual services, either to make a living or to supplement their income, potentially earning hundreds of pounds per hour. But rather than on the streets or in illegal brothels, these women sell sex from their own homes or hotels, utilising technology to share photos, make bookings and vet potential clients - making the exchange more accessible and, according to some, safer than the illegal alternatives.

The age-old issue of whether sex should ever be traded remains, with many believing it to be exploitative and damaging, driven by a society still shaped by the desires of men. Yet there are those who feel that selling sex can be a valid, empowering choice for those who choose to engage in it.

Yup, they said he had ~450 reviews on his AW,  so maybe a lot more punts.   Apparently he's good looking, skilful & cool too.  The WG who saw him said she'd go with him for free.  Apparently he goes on Tinder on weekends, but said on school days it's a bit hit & miss so he goes on AW instead.

Obviously has quite a sex drive,  I wonder if he's related to the legendary modelfucker?

At one point I thought they were showing the 25 year old's Fulham des res on camera!

I heard the brother about Tinder, not much happening during the week then it goes mad at weekends.  Still, I wouldn't have shelled out a bean for her.
