Author Topic: TS review section - suggestion  (Read 1620 times)

Hi admins,

I’m not against TS reviews in anyway in fact quite the opposite in that the more reviews written the better this site will become.

I do however feel we would all benefit from a separate TS section rather than mixing TS reviews with Hetero ones.

Happy for others to chime in for or against what I just proposed.

How will it benefit all? Can you explain?

There are lots of reviews I don't read or have any interest in so are you suggesting a separate section for thin/fat/young/old/roms etc etc?

Thanks for being happy to let us all comment  too much xmas leftover sherry old boy?!  :sarcastic:

Why read what doesn't interest you, they normally have TS in the title, just pass them by.   :unknown:

Let the management fix the outstanding forum issues first before requesting updates of little benefit.
New members haven't been able to register for around six months, and the review indexing is still broke. They need fixing before adding any new functionality.

This.

You have to put TS in the title though, that way the ones who are still in the closet can get their kicks by reading the review then accuse everyone else of being gay to make themselves feel manly again.

If we moved them to their own section, those guys would have to admit that they actively look for TS reviews, rather than just claiming they clicked by accident when looking for someone else....

Am I missing something here. :unknown: At the very top of the home page is a filter by category section which states massage sugardaddy transexual. If you click on one of them it brings up all those reviews on that topic.  :hi:

Exactly my thought-thats why I added the link to the TS section earlier in the thread. :unknown:

If there are any instances such as you suggest then report them, it's against the rules.

Banter is allowed but racist or homophobic posting will result in a ban.

It doesn't matter how anybody comes across a TS review, they still don't have to read it or comment on it. Like Scutty says, there's far more important issues to resolve than setting up a separate section for one member.

In the software trade this is known as a WIBNI, "wouldn't it be nice if".

It's like when our woman neighbour campaigned for a min-roundabout at the end of our street.  We get about ten cars per hour at peak time.

I think the OP wants the TS reviews kept away from the heterosexual ones so there’s no danger of him accidentally being sickened to his very core...  I agree that TS reviews should be denoted as such in the subject line, and I think those who do post them are pretty good at doing so.

Like others have said, there’s more pressing priorities on here for the management i’d imagine

 Good point, and I suspect for many more than would admit it, this is the case.

I'm a TS devotee as well as a Cis-gender girl devotee so perhaps I'm biased. I did raise the point about a totally separate TS Review section some time ago (when there was a fair bit of antagonism towards such reviews) but it'd be a lot of extra work I think, and as has been pointed out, there are enough existing issues on the forum without adding to the list.

I have to say, there have been a lot less snidey comments of late, and the vast majority are accepting of others' punting choices - which is as it should be IMO.

The 'TS guys' all know now to put 'TS' in the title of a TS review, and this then quickly gets sectioned off into the TS category by a Helper or a Mod, so what's the big deal? Yes, it can still be viewed elsewhere, but it has TS in the title, so if you have no interest, don't read. Simples.

The only 'danger' is of not reading TS clearly displayed in the review title (or perhaps in addition, the other danger of secretly liking to read them).

I have nothing but admiration and respect for your ever-helpful attitude in adding AW links and all the other good stuff you do Goldfinch, but perhaps this thread should actually not be put in the TS Category, since it's perhaps something that everyone should read?

Or maybe he's worried that he may accidentally read one and then want to see a TS.  :D

...I do know a couple he'd probably quite enjoy  ;)  :D.

Meh... this is why I wanted to encourage other comments - seems we’re comfortable with it being mixed.

Maybe it’s my OCD - I kind of see it like a peach stall of the supermarket with random bananas thrown in.

I cracked a joke about a ts escort, and seemingly the member did not find it funny, and I'm not allowed to view ts topics, and believe, this dosnt just aplly to me, I know of other, who aren't allowed to view ts topics

ADMIT TO WHO? - you?

Offline winkywanky

Well certainly not themselves.

Perhaps you are unaware of the occasional sniping comments on TS reviews/topics by such posters?

Some of them are quite comical.

I'm a fussy git. Not interested in a vast array of ladies/providers - I just ignore their reviews though, I don't see any need to try and section them off into categories at all. I think there's a simplicity about UKP layout that contributes to the site being easy to use and navigate which encourages contributions..... no need to compromise that over the occasional bit of TS or niche content.
