as usual no AW link has been posted

what the fuck do people get out of inventing these scenarios?
Why assume he made it up just because he hasn't posted a link? Is there a rule that says he has to share the link of every escort he's thinking about seeing? Seems to me he's contributed by writing reviews.
My impression is that it's true, and he posted the thread hoping that most people would tell him what he wanted to hear, which is to go for it.

99/100 these types of thread are made up bullshit with no link to the girl attached as she doesnt exist

call it experience but I dont buy a single word of it - personally I think you are naive to believe it

Offline winkywanky

I have to say, I totally get what you're saying about the seemingly frequent bullshit threads (and they are annoying), but the amount of detail in the OP would suggest otherwise in this case, IMO.

Normally the bullshit threads start with a very small amount of vague detail, almost as if to draw in unsuspecting readers to comment, for the gratification of the OP-fantasist. Then, when people start to suspect it's all bollocks, more detail is added by the OP, and as the 'full picture' emerges there will inevitably be inconsistencies and contradictions which blow it out of the water.

As for calling Rochelle naive, she may be many/other things, but I don't reckon naive is one of them!

I'm sure most of the time it'll be bollocks, I doubt this time it is though.
By the way, it's happened to me, so I know it does happen.

bollocks until proven otherwise is the savest bet in these scenarios

To be honest I didn't bother reading all the post.  :D My fantasy comments were based on years of reading similar threads. I have now read the posts and if I give him the benefit of the doubt that he may well indeed have spotted two profiles of someone he knows, (albeit vaguely?) it doesn't alter the fact it is fantasy seeking. I would argue that the vast amount of detail in the post is about acting out that fantasy online with an audience.

It is a common fantasy, which frequently ends up with people saying 'go for it' .... many of whom wouldn't do so themselves.  :D

Accidentally bumping into someone is an occupational hazard and uncommon. It can have serious consequences. To actively seek out this scenario is IMO complete madness.

Yes, as I posted earlier you can encounter someone you know, but unless you are saying that you saw a profile of a male escort you knew in real life and contemplated booking him, it is not the same as the OP.  ;) :D

You know exactly what I meant. An acquaintance saw me on adultwork, told me, we talked about it and he ended up booking me eventually.

I might have done  :D

Still think you were mad to accept the booking but hey ho

Fantasy seeking, or attention seeking? Or perhaps both?  :D

If the same thing had happened to me, it is perhaps not something I would start a thread about, but would possibly add to one started by someone else.

As for meeting up with the girl in the form of a punt, I agree, I would probably give that a miss because it's liable to end up either freaking out the girl, or causing some kind of car crash on social media or simply the local gossip grapevine/rumour mill  :scare:.

I guess if you were forewarned and actually remember the guy and what he was like, as well as talking it through with him a little, it could potentially be fun.

And who knows, something beautiful might blossom from it?  :D  ;)

He was mad also as he's attached and I know who she is. I think we both know we're not telling anyone.

Offline winkywanky

And in which case, you are the one in control of that, so no particular worries for you on that score.

This is the other point that regularly crops up with this topic .. the 'stalemate' argument. You are both in the same boat etc.

Rarely is a stalemate clear cut and fifty fifty. One party may have more to lose than the other. For example his relationship may end and the goal posts are moved?  ;)

Anything is possible, but I'm almost 100% sure he wouldn't want his relationship to end. He definitely wouldn't want her to find out.

Indeed especially given the OP 'relationship' to the girl is very social media based.

I should have worded it better, you are the one with the 'power' in this situation, he has a lot more to lose than you have so he is very unlikely to let on to any mutual acquaintances.

Offline Silencio

Ah yes. I went to school with two people who have escorted, one has since retired, the other is still going. I really fancied the one who retired and was so so tempted, but far too risky. I wondered if the mutually assured destruction would work, make a booking, turn up, laugh about it, keep each other's secret but still felt too risky.

I have also met someone who I went to school with, and we got on brilliant, so if you dont try, you wont know if you both will be ok with each other

She's retired now unfortunately, I don't fancy the other one even slightly.

Her mother was stark raving mad and was shagging from the age of 13 if you had a car and cash  so  likely she would be up for it and taught her daughter .

In any case having read the thread again there seems to be 3 separate posters who have been asked but not provided links?

For fear of being outed I'd say. If some do-gooder, white knight or shit-stirring prick tells her about this thread, it won't be good for him and, assuming the mental fragility issue is true (note: assumption), then it won't be good for her. He should have thought it through and kept his big mouth shut in the first place.

Yes the key word is assumption. You need to look at the post chronology. He could have posted a link when asked or remained silent or just said I don't want to so fuck off.

Instead he posts excuse (a). If we were to exclude links to SP's with mental health issues the forum would be decimated

So as excuse (a) was questioned he posts excuse (b) in an attempt to save face again.

People need to realise that if they post about such experiences they will be asked for links and if they find excuses not to do so the 'story' will look suspicious.

To be fair, I see his first response as trying to placate the baying crowd, and then feels pressed to pull the joker out. Personally I'd prefer he kept that private and take the flak on the chin.

I really do understand the desire to share from personal experience (hell, it's what the site is about) but in this social media age, people still don't realise there are consequences when you say "hey, look at me and my story".

All good points

He was though third in line at being asked for a link, so should have been wise to what was to follow?

Sex and fantasy are closely linked and it is not surprising this spills over into threads, sometimes making it difficult to distinguish what are real anecdotes or just written versions of a fantasy.

To go full circle though and return to my earlier comments, this particular fantasy is a common, repetitive one and in my opinion (and experience) a dangerous one to have.
