What do you do when you are horny and want a booking but cant find what you like? I found myself in this position the other day and was searching on AW to find something. I nearly went ahead and booked a girl out of desperation but am glad I didn't as I could of had a shit punt and would of been annoyed with myself booking a girl just out of sheer desperation

Most of my punts are the result of the hangover horn when my judgment is poor.  Booked Plan C,D & E; Roms and all kind of shit punts.  They usually end up bad but you do stumble upon the odd good one obviously.

I find it hard to plan ahead since I never know what might crop up.  If you can't find a WG you have experience with look for one that's well reviewed.  If neither is available then have a wank.

I try and get one of my regulars, if I can't, then will have a quick look at the HL, if nothing is available for immediate action will then take matters in hand and knock one out, as it gets me over the instantaneous urge.
In the past have spent most of the day trying to get something only to find nothing around, so I find relieving the situation helps

I plan my punts in advance precisely because those made on the spur of the moment are often born of desperation and can be pisspoor. I know this from experience.

This is clearly for punters with self control. I myself plan to never punt again, just like after every other punt. But when I get the proper horn and wanking won't satisfy I will plan a punt for right fucking now.

If I feel bad about it but book anyway knowing that soon I will want to that's like another level. Not sure what word I'm looking for but makes it seem all that more "..." You know

From experience, but if I look for a last minute punt on AW it tends to be poor. I will use an agency if its a last minute punt. Also, with a few last minute punts on AW I have been ripped of (3 I think).

Just do it!  Soho is a busy place and nobody cares or even notices what other people get up to. You can always do a quick recce on the place you'd like to go into. Just walk past on the other side of the road. Confidence is the key. Just walk in. Loitering around outside umming and ah-ing will be more likely to get you noticed.

If you need a cover story then one of the walk-ups (8 Greek  Street?) has a film production company on the first floor with the two working flats on the next floors up

Personally I also avoid:
PROFILES WRITTEN IN ALL CAPITALS, partly because they can wind up being impossible to read;
Profiles with excessive numbers of MSN Messenger smileys, emoji, or other pictographs; and,
Profiles where all the photos are taken in one or two outfits, clearly in the same location and probably the same shoot.

(I'm none too fond of girls whose idea of attractive selfies include making goldfish or duck lips, or dumb filters, but that's just me.)

Most of the time it has led to shit punts but a couple of times I have found good ones that I have returned to again.

Generally when I punt a certain amount of planning goes into it. It's either with someone I've seen before or someone on my hotlist that I've researched. Spur of the moment punts tend to be at parlours I know and have visited before and usually just a half hour service.
Spending a couple of hundred quid on a plan D or E punt is not a great idea in my view.
