Many years ago my partner was a personnel manager and I accompanied her to a recruitment day held in a top Manchester hotel, after the day had finished the MD of the company took the staff and me to dinner in a different city centre Manchester hotel. with us were two secretary's who were in their 20's and dressed quite well. #metoo's  certainly made quite a few wary of approaching women, but I'd guess most who liked to do that sort of thing still do.   Just as many woman want to be approached as before;  it's sometimes possible to tell by reading their vibe.  If you miss read, as long as you back off as soon as she makes it clear she's not interested,  you'd be massively unlucky for anything bad to happen. (Unlike say when you try to chat up a woman you know in the office,  in some places that's quite risky now.)

When I'm single & work puts me in a hotel, I invariably pop into the bar in the hopes of linking up with a WG,  or even maybe a civy if Im really lucky.   Admittedly so far zero success after several decades  (dont' stay in hotels that often.) And it's been a few years since I even saw a woman I thought it would be worth approaching.

I've heard that in the posh London hotels you get whores even more high end than the in the best agencies, that don't even advertise online, they just meet their clients in bars.    Sadly, my work never puts me up in that sort of place.

I would imagine majority of guys would not approach a woman in a bar if they thought she was a WG. If your assumption was wrong, the embarrassment! Best case scenario, is, she tells you no, all calm and quite, or, you could find yourself wearing your pint.

Yes you're probably right - but I suspect there is a sizeable minority of us who do.

You can minimise the chances of any spilled beer by approaching as though she was a civvy.  (I.e. say hello, make a few comments relevant to the surroundings, maybe ask why she's there, smile & make eye contact in a slightly flirtatious way,  if there's any reciprocation give her some compliments about her appearance, & keep chatting until the time feels right to ask if she wants to come up to your room.)  Assuming she's up for it, then if she's a WG she's likely to make it clear they'll be a charge at this point.  If not, free civvy sex      As said, this has never been successful for me, though going a decade or so back I have pulled a couple of civvies like that at none hotel bars.  But all the women I've approached made their lack of interest clear in polite ways, there's not much risk as long as your respectful & careful.

I'd probably approach that way even if I was 100% sure she was a WG.  I guess a few like to get straight to business with "How much do you charge?", but doubt it would be good manners with most?

Yes it is buddy.   But there's a world of difference between 3 stars & the truly posh hotels where the elite whores are said to hang out.

I've stayed in a few 3* hotels myself & a few times approached hot looking women who've been at the bar. But as said, with no joy, I don't think they were WGs. While there probably are lots of WGs in 3* hotels, holiday & premier inns etc,  I think they mostly just stay in their rooms and have punters come to them...

Thanks for posting,  interesting perspective & good reminder that us punters should consider WGs discretion, as well as the wrong way round.

Personally though I'd prefer to link up with a WG in RL if it can be done in a way that doesn't hurt her discretion - it would remind me of the few times I pulled a civvy girl on nights out,  back in my younger days.

I don't think it's mostly a case of going to bars when other channels are dead   - for the girls that work the £300 + per night hotel bars, it's their preferred way of working, and they do very well from it.

For work/ life separation - I'd guess many are foreigners & work most of the time when in UK - main place for personal life is back home.  For others, if they have a non work love life,  they might do their pulling online, lol.

As for the problem of non punters trying to chat them up, I'd guess they soon learn efficient ways of dealing with that. And I understand most of the non punters  who frequently stay at the elite hotels well know that good looking single women at the bars are quite possibly WGs, and develop antennas which can tell the difference.

Couldn't you change your look for RL occasions?  Most guys wouldn't recognise you if you changed your hair and style of make-up.  Glasses/no glasses.  Different style of clothing.

I have been approached a few times across London, Birmingham and Manchester. Had other stuff  planned so didn't take up any of the offers.
