As someone that has punted down under, sure, I'll give you some advice.

First, the laws here are very different.  In many places in Oz, OWO is illegal but here it is no problem.  Same goes for CIM, facials, etc.  My experience is that punting in the UK is way cheaper than Oz and the services offered are much more extensive.

Parlour punting is fine and a great way to get into the scene.  Find a place that you like, but then do your research on here to see if the girl has been reviewed.  That way you know what services you will actually receive and whether they are any good.

There are some cracking escorts on Adult Work in Scotland.  I'd have a search in your area for the services you're after, then cross reference anyone you like on this site.  Just cut-and-paste their AW number into the search bar and bob's your uncle, you will know if they are any good.  Doing your research in advance increases substantially increases your chances of a satisfying punt.

Probably the best advice is to make sure you confirm services before money is exchanged.  And lastly, don't be afraid to walk if it doesn't feel right or the SP changes her mind about the services.

I have not been to London Street Sauna for years (as I live down south) but echo Flying Blue’s comments. If memory serves you are buzzed in asked how long you want and pay the Sauna fee and enter the lounge.

As a newbie one of the girls will show you around-the actual sauna and the showers etc and you change into a towel and can either partake of the sauna or go to the lounge where the girls who are not working will offer you a drink (non-alcoholic) and sit around with the clients who are chatting to the girls watching TV or reading magazines. Some of the girls will be waiting for a booking some trying to get you to take them down stairs. From time to time the girls will go downstairs to the rooms  with a client and girls who have just finished will reappear in the lounge.

I like to it around to see who is working and take my time before making a choice-the downside is that the stunners may be heavily pre-booked and so you may need to get in quick or have a shorter appointment than you would like-or miss out. It might be an idea to get to the sauna before a shift change to get the maximal choice of girls.

Perhaps other readers can fill in with more recent experiences? But saunas are great.

Cannot comment about London street but would certainly recommend Blair Street.

Ah Carol's, you know that place was my first UK punt ever, it must be over 12 years ago now. Still staggering along somehow I see? I really must go back for a punting weekend in Scotland sometime.

Regarding Edinburgh, sometimes it had been a bit nerve wracking waiting to be buzzed into what is basically a brothel on a public street. You could try to look at recent reviews of Edinburgh indies on this site and book a girl with good recent references through their AW/UKE profile if they have one. Its safer (the quality and energy of parlour girls yo-yos a bit) and usually more discreet. OTOH you'll miss out on the excitement of walking into a place without knowing who you're about to meet and roll into bed with. Your call really.

It depends where in Oz you're from. Even London Street doesn't compete with the top Sydney brothels. But then neither do the prices!
