Well the year is nearly done and what a year it has been.

Question is how much have you spent this year?

I suspect it might be different this year..

For me its been three punts with a total spend of £440. The lowest ive ever spent in my 6 year punting career, of course most of it due to the pandemic but honestly i feel the lack of good service provider has fallen dramatically. Am i wrong?

Hope you all have a wonderful xmas and new years and stay safe! Heres hoping 2021 can bring some normality  :drinks:

Man, i am way above you.  I bet i am well over 5k.  Ever since i got dumped by the girl i was seeing i really have been out of control.  She kept me focused on her mostly.  I think the first week lockdown ended i dropped a grand on a bunch of meets.

Your right about the lack of girls being an issue.  There is far less out there and they are generally more expensive.  I tend to to see the higher priced girls too.  I have never paid less than 120 for a girl.  I seem to hover around 160-200 at the moment.

I was doing well and managed 20 before the first lockdown and then 5 after the first lockdown ended. I've not worked out the cost but obviously down on last year probably around £3,750.  No future bookings planned at the moment.  It's annoying, but I may wait until I get a vaccination now.

£4480 - 29 punts

Jan-March lockdown punted lots.
April-July not at all
July- Start of November punted loads and loads spending all the money I saved March-May (especially with not driving, going to pub, going on holiday etc)

2018   -   £2,195 ... 11 meets
2019   -   £3,070 ... 13
2020   -   £490    ...   3 (to date) - planning to squeeze one more in before Christmas.

Flippin’ Covid and the chimps in Westminster have a lot to answer for.  Yes it’s  saved me a couple of grand at least, but truth to tell I’d rather have spent it on fucking, Tie’n’Tease and being blown and edged by a hot SP.  I’m strongly of the opinion there’s not an awful lot that can beat a good time during these dark and depressing days.

2019/20 16 punts, £3,560 spent and one £50 review?

Me; I prefer to look at it the other way.

I've never had as much money in the bank since that day - 16 years, come Friday! :yahoo: - when I had my first-ever punt.

You can't take it with you. I would rather of had a good time with less money in my bank account  :hi:

Considerably less than in previous years but, I can't be arsed doing the maths

I've only seen four WGs this year. Two in January, and then two in August. So I've saved a lot of money.

Mostly all the same SP.  :hi:
I bet I can guess who that was as well......... :rose:

This year got off to a great start 8 punts in 9 weeks. Probably £1400 - not sure really. Last year it took me till July before I got 8 punts in as I wasnt well. So yes, I was really looking forward to 2020. And after 9-10 months I'm really struggling to get back into this. I've got an open goal tomorrow and I'm thinking will I won't I......... :dash: :dash: :dash:

Offline signy

I don't keep count, but I would guess about two-thirds of my normal numbers. So, about 10 punts for £1500.

Offline SimonSays2108

I think i've spent less than £400 in total across a SA in Feb and R&T massages during non-lockdown periods ... what would be interesting is what people have spent their savings on ... some, i can see, are now using their 'balance' for more / better punts however on Monday i purchased at 49' monitor (G9 Samsung) that i would never have considered if i hadn't saved a fortune during COVID ... can't see myself punting for a while as leaving the house is a mission and my SA has moved 'up norf' - will have to have a wank and think about what else santa can bring :)

About a grand - 12 meets over about 5 unique SPs (including one I've been to 4 times :) I don't usually go back more than twice, so its nice to meet someone of high enough quality)
Less this year, due to c19.
Target this year was 2 x 30 mins a month, so 24 a year.

I've gotten better at recording them in Excel since the start of this year :)

I would like to look at the sheet just before I die and tally up total numbers and money spent :) you know, like stats when you play a computer game ;)

Three punts, two before the first lockdown, one before the second lockdown. As the gym used to be my alibi, and I am not returning to the gym until I've had a COVID vaccine. The punt in between lockdowns involved a creative alibi which I won't share as it might identify me. Total 390 quid I think. My wife is stepping up but I miss sucking the lovely nipples of Mary Thai Beauty (and other activities) when she's in town.

Apart from dying , I've done that. I smile when I look back and think what an amazing unexpected journey this has been. Its highs and its lows. The money isnt something I think about.

Online southcoastpunter

The money isnt something I think about.

Totally agree. Well i didn't until this thread came along!

If the OP means pure / proper "punting" - then probably nothing, If i include R&T type massages in, then probably about £1000. If I add in SA, well about another £2000-3000.  I also took a SA lady to Italy for two weeks, if you add her half of the trip costs in - probably another £1500.

That is why ....The money isnt something I think about.!!

Offline Charliehutton

In two spells, a total of 18 punts, compared to 46 last year.

As a half-hour man I reckon I pay an average of about £75, so about £1350 in total.

I'm hoping to spend a lot more next year. My punting coffers are bursting at the seams, I've a stockpile of cock-pills and I'm feeling very optimistic about the new year.

Offline Black Horse

£960 so far in 2020 and aiming to get one in December that’ll take me over the £1000.

Most expensive was £130/h but usually £60/0.5h punts with a reg.

The virus has impacted my spend and being retired on a budget doesn’t help either. Sadly long gone are the days of a big monthly salary and punting on a whim.

£2505 for me. But £1520 of that was spent before the first lockdown.

Waiting for the vaccine now before resuming, then it's binge time.

Offline Marquis

I've spent £490 - spread over 3 x 30 minute sessions and 2 x 60 minutes - so far in 2020. That is a little less than a third of what I spend in a normal year. It's probably 90/10 against me having another dabble this month: the OH is on furlough and, even if she goes back, it's still too risky health wise in my view. But, having not punted since early September, I might just weaken before the year is out.

Offline Greenchilli

I doubt some of our esteemed members here on UKP active on SA , SDM ,AW, Vivastreet , others agencies et al   like to keep a tab on so trivial matters such as funds spent on SPs .

interesting topic. I have spent less than last year but more than expected. Stuck to a couple of regs as a staple wi a flurry between lockdowns.

Judging by the precision of some replies I suspect some are recording punts on a spreadsheet. Be quite interesting what they call these spreadsheets and the name (s) of the folder(s) they hide them in.

I'd assume it's in Documents/Various/Household/Utilities/Bills/Papers/Older/Save/Copies/BackedUp/GolfHandicaps.xls 😉

I got one in early March - think it was £100. That's my year-to-date spend.

Nah.... nothing as anal (‘scuse the pun) as Excel or any other spreadsheet, just a quick single line note in OneNote with date, name and price.  Simples.  Mine is exclusively on my mobile which only I have access to... OneNote name...?  Just for a laugh = SPend   ;)

Good for you, Charlie! I'm in a similar position. I don't know which I'm happier about: the cash in my punting budget; or the number of Tadalafil tabs the NHS has kindly provided during the lockdowns to see me through the punts celebrating the vaccine!

Literally lol'd at that, Charlie!

My dear old mother, who'd be beating herself up - "Where did we go wrong?" - if she could what her son's major pastime is these days was a great one for maxims.

Please can you all check down the sides of the sofa and under your bed for a few billion (I realise that it's easily done - one day you put a tenner aside to pay the window cleaner and before you know it you have £5M in tins in the kitchen cupboard)?
