I think you've got this edging thing wrong. The idea is that the escort takes you to the edge then SHE 'cools it down' by stopping direct stimulation, then after a short time, starting again and building you up to almost cumming before repeating the process again as many times as you or she wants. An experienced escort should be able to sense when a punter's close to cumming so should be able to stop without any direction from the client, or you having to stop yourself cumming by thinking of a brick wall or whatever.
