Possible scam / mugged

I wanted to ask if any of you are fimiliar with a possible scam/mugging of punter.

I was in Liverpool hotel, went on via street and booked a WG. I requested that she knock on my room door when she arrived at the hotel. She text back saying that I had to stand outside the hotel or she wouldn't meet me.

I refused and told her to knock on. She said I I don't stand outside the hotel then she wouldn't meet me. I told her to piss off then .

I had a feeling that I might have got mugged as I've never ever had an escort ask me to meet outside the hotel before. They've always knocked on.

Does anyone know of anyone being mugged using this method? Or perhaps I was just being too cautious.

(I'd have never of took the money down with me even if I did go outside to meet)

To be honest I have never allowed an escort to come directly to my room for an outcall. I have either met them just outside/inside the hotel door or in the bar area. Just feel secure that way.

It’s quite normal to meet them outside or in the lobby if it’s busy. Hotel security makes some girls nervous about getting in.

It all depends on which Hotel it is, did you need to use a key card in the lift, if you did how would she be able to get to your room, did you tell her which Hotel, if you did she may have known this, that's why she asked you to meet outside

I’ve definitely met girls outside hotels or in the lobby. Also ended up paying for the taxi fare once too 

Guess it’s a security thing to check you out before committing to entering a hotel room, or as above to get past check-in, security or key card lifts.

Also gives you the opportunity to decline if it’s a B&S or photos weren’t representative.

Depends if you need your keycard to get to the rooms like in certain hotels or you can if you can walk straight in.

If it is one of these hotels in which you need a keycard to access the stairs/lifts then I could understand her issue but if not then i am with you in your stance.

It is a legit request. Lots of girls won't go straight up to a room. I have only ever asked to be met if the hotel is keycarded and I can't get to the room by myself however.

If she's visiting you, it's a courtesy to go and meet her.

You both get to size each other up in relative safety. She gets to avoid any potential questions /walk of shame through reception, or any difficulties finding your room.

Trust your instincts. If you want to see her again wait a few weeks then rebook.

Meet in the bar or reception area gives you both a chance to look each other over.
It's no big deal not to want to stand outside if you don't feel comfortable. Some hotels you need a key card to use the lift and in some cases to access the main door so you have to let the girl in.

I once went to meet a girl in a hotel and was told to phone from the bar when I got there. When I did another girl answered her phone stood feet away from me, she walked me up to the room, followed me in and then sat in the bathroom while the deed happened with the wg. Quite enjoyed the idea that she could hear everything but it was weird when I went to the bathroom to shower and she went all giggles half hiding her eyes whole rushing out the door. I asked if she was a wg too but she was the wg's cousin acting as a level of protection. When I smiled at this she happily waved her can of pepper spray.

95+ percent do come up in my experience in the hotels i have booked, only one since i joined here wanted me to  meet outside.

With me it's been 100%. I even had a street girl walk alongside me from street to hotel room. No one batted an eyelid.

It was during the winter lady year, I had a hood & snood, gloves etc. She only saw my face proper when we entered the room.

It was a Red & white hat wrapped with tinsel. I had a full sack of presents for her ;-). Seriously, it was during winter 'up north' around 9pm. everybody was wearing them, I blended in.
