Bait / switch - object lesson

First post on here, as I've only recently got back into punting post-separation from the missus.

My first punts were a loooong time ago back in my twenties / thirties starting with a few weekends exploring the Red Light District in 'Dam and then trying - and being very disappointed with - English escorts picked from the back of the local newspaper as in those days the web was pretty new and there was nothing like AdultWork.

Since getting back into punting I've been really impressed with AW and the way you can really shop around to find exactly what you're looking for but today I let myself get taken for a ride and am kicking myself.

So I saw this profile - External Link/Members Only which looked ideal for me - very pretty lady, some positive ratings from punters who in turn have positive ratings (although admittedly not very high ratings but then neither do I). 

Reasonably local and most importantly listed all the services I was interested in - A levels, Rimming (both ways), Being Filmed, CIM, Deep Throat, GFE.  Oh and to top it off she was very reasonably priced.

So what went wrong?  I missed a couple of pretty obvious signs - firstly her profile specifically said that she doesn't have access to the internet all the time so book by phone not through AW. Secondly I phoned up yesterday to enquire about booking a time for today and she told me to phone back today. In hindsight, what girl wouldn't want to confirm a booking then and there?  So enamoured of her profile pics was I that I did indeed phone back today and arranged to meet her.

She was booked into a local hotel and when she answered the curtains in the room were all pulled so it was pretty dim. I kind of felt it could have been the same girl but wasn't sure.  Then almost immediately she said she doesn't do anal.  At this point alarm bells should have been ringing but I'd kind of set my mind on a punt so I sighed and moved on.

I had brought my tripod to setup my camera as her profile had said "being filmed" but she said I can film her but not her face.  Not sure how the heck that's supposed to work so abandoned that idea as well.

Then we moved to the bed - at this point I was mildly annoyed but she offered a massage and I figured maybe that would get me back in the mood.  Actually the massage was probably the best part of the punt! 

She wasn't really into it, all a bit half hearted, and every now and then something else would pop up from her list that I'd just taken as read she would do like CIM was off the table, Deep Throat, even kissing (which to me is a defining quality of a GFE). 

In the end I just resigned myself to a well below average punt.

Now, don't get me wrong - it wasn't awful - she was pretty cute (although in hindsight clearly not the girl in the pics), but she just wasn't into it and the constant knock-back of services not available that were clearly on her profile just took all the fun out of it.

At the end of the day I guess you get what you pay for - the frustrating thing is that having not booked through the AW booking system I can't now rate her and warn other punters.

Lesson learned - don't step outside the AW booking system, and if something looks too good to be true it usually is.

Anyone else have experiences like this or is it just me?

Yep, I've had 2 bad punts out of <20 - I agree it's amazing why we don't just walk but hard to let go of the expectation you've built up ... learn from it and move on.  NEVER spend more than say £60 if they're not proven, IMO.

Well you HAVE warned other punters now on here, you can also do a review if you so wish. Its not at all unusual in my experiences for a WG to only take phone bookings and want punters to ring on the day to confirm and make a firm booking.

Not all of us are as impressed as you with A/W, a site with no interest in helping punters like this site does. I would of walked once she said she didnt actually offer what was agreed on the phone, these lying low lifes wont get my business anymore.

My advice is use this site to locate recommended WGs by punters you find credible and leave feedback on them if you wish on here. I also advise you NEVER to believe you get what you pay for in punting. What makes a good WG is her attitude, NOT what she happens to charge. If you punt with an expensive bad WG you will just leave that much lighter of wallet than punting with a cheap bad WG.
