Is it wise as sensible OPs to continue to register more newbies, get an ever increasing number of reviews when we should be thinking about sensibly show a measured approach

Otherwise it looks like all that is happening here is we are encouraging mixing at a rapid rate

I hear what you're saying and agree with it to an extent.  I think we're heading for a new national lockdown for Jan and Feb.

Personally, I have enjoyed seeing most of the new reviews except for the odd one or two strange ones, which seem like fake ones written by people with chips on their shoulders. 

They're not encouraging me to go off shagging though.  They are either reminding me of experiences I've had or giving me ideas of new SPs I'd like to see in the future, so adding to my HL.

Yes I saw a post from a noob earlier blowing his own trumpet at how many new reviews there are over the past few days, and it read as though he was trying to shame existing / established and possibly “responsible” members who haven’t posted a review.

IMO the timing of new registrations is off coinciding with more restrictive Tiers, and to an outsider it may look like UKP members don’t care about Covid and the damage it is doing to peoples lives. They won’t stop to check if the punt happened before the first lockdown, or in between lockdowns during the relatively covid safer summer.

Fortunately it appears that the review and discussion boards are no longer fully accessible to “Guests”.
The doors need firmly closing and I hope this remains the case after Covid restrictions are removed, but how many new members are journalists, not to mention the established lurkers on here who don’t appear to punt.

I haven't seen anyone from the UKP management team encouraging people to break the Lockdown rules, so not really sure how the forum itself is encouraging mixing etc.?

If people want to punt, the UKP forum is not in any position to influence that. They will take the risks they want regardless.

This is just an internet forum, not the punting COVID enforcement unit.

I think there was a period when Lockdown 1 was on when people wrote reviews for the 6 months before the lockdown then it got quiet with reviews.  When the lockdown lifted people went shagging again. When Lockdown 2 happened people wrote reviews about the previous few months.  I think the door opening for new registrations has resulted in a flood of reviews from new joiners, which has been welcome. If we have another lockdown then a similar pattern will be repeated as people usually wait weeks or months before they write reviews. It gives you something to read while you can't go shagging yourself.  The government will have to announce more funding for the self employed to help people through the winter and then hopefully (fingers crossed) things will start to improve in March and the days will be longer which will help people's mental health.

We'll get through it.  In the meantime be kind to your fellow humans. We're all hurting in different ways.

However the risk of transmission increases exponentially

I for one now know quite a few under 40s who have had the virus and it was in their words very debilitating

We may be ok as we are hard as nail fuckers but we could pass onto family members who are more venerable

Not so much an issue for me. The mods do a fantastic job at weeding them out, and I can see Head1 has been nipping them at the bud at a rapid pace.

Well I'm one of the "newbies".  And I'm also a previous member.

Some months ago I was made aware that the email that I previously registered here with had been hacked and seriously compromised.  I changed email addies and then swapped over the address here.

therein lies the problem.  officially we don't accept them, but if i refused a booking based on outsider knowledge i would likely be asked awkward questions as to how i know.  the only working girls we have to refuse for sure are those who work nearby; well known to us all; and often try to book in with punters.  then i have to refuse them.  i've been offered all sorts to let them in, but i had to work with my straight head on, not my punter one.  besides, i'm much more a gentle fbsm guy than a full on fuck me over the reception desk kinda guy. lol.

a colleague of mine however is far more ameniable to taking in working girls, so long as he gets something; a tip or his tip sucked....  how he still has his job none of us know.  he had an awkward time just before xmas, when oneof those girls he'd been seeing outside of work tried to book in with a punter, then when he refused her she screamed loud enough for other staff to hear, that he didnt mind booking her in when he wanted some fun.  we all still laugh about that now.  it's like the bosses have no eyes or ears when it comes to his failings for some reason.

I've always wondered to what extent though hotels do turn a blind eye when letting escorts check in lol. With 90% of my punts taking place in Birmingham city centre i feel you can almost guess nowadays which few hotels the girl will likely be using for incalls even before a full address is given

Be careful what threads you start, some get you a 7 day ban. It might pay you to read the rules and the stickies at the top of the main page.  No need for you to worry about the site, the influx is geared to what the admin team and mods can cope with.

Newbies can fall foul of the rules but as long as it a genuine mistake i for one can see past it. I know when I first started I was a bit daft with my first few posts. Learned the way of the forum and it’s served me well.

And as the op hasn’t had a bitch fit as some Others may have done I give him credit for that.
