I haven't seen the programme; so I don't know just how fat or ugly the featured women were. So, at the risk of my inner vanilla-ness revealing itself, can I offer the thought that, perhaps they felt they had no other realistic option.

Like many - most? - of us on here, I guess; I'm fortunate enough never to have had to struggle to make ends meet and I can't imagine what I would have done if I had found myself in such desperate circumstances.

Depressing watching that programme.As far as i remember, the first girl trying to run the sauna quit her job because she wanted a change ie not forced into it. She is clearly in the wrong job now and cant get any girls working for her. She is advertising her massage parlour where she is the only choice so its no surprise she cant get much work.
