Anyone regularly read SAAFE?

It's similar to UKP, but for WG's. We are talking about them, but they are also talking about us!

My initial reaction was to be a bit concerned, but after thinking about it, I don't think any decent punter would have problems with it - would they? After all, we all wnt our WG's to be safe.

Any thoughts?

I think you'll find there are quite a few threads on SAAFE on this site already, some of them pretty critical, others more supportive.

As if I didn't seem green enough, I've never checked that site out! Pretty interesting, it's definitely made me consider pitching a reverse booking. Some of the dangerous punters seem like bad comedy - I'd certainly be pretty terrified if it was the girl chasing me round the room trying to introduce to God, anyway.

Controversial. First thoughts SAAFE is a fucking bore. There's plenty of threads that call men that choose to walk timewasters. I only tend to read it if it is linked on here.

Anyone know why the site layouts of SAAFE and UKP are so similar? And the way you use the sites is identical too - right down to how you when posting press the 'quote' icon on the right to highlight a previous post above yours. (Not that I post on SAAFE you understand!)

Same webdesigner perhaps? Or is there another reason?

One thing I can't stand about the saafe site is the colour.... bright pink FFS! I think they do it deliberately to put men off reading the site.

I like reading the How Not To Book An Escort thread once a fortnight over on SAAFE. Discovered it and AW last summer and read every thread on SAAFE within a week or so.

Bored by SAAFE now, though. They should let punters on it.

No. And I don't think we should either. It serves a different purpose and we have no place on there.

Some of it is very interesting. The thread on how not to book world championships especially. Makes you realise what some of them have to put up with and why some of them get a bit ratty at times. Puts me off punting actually, some of the things guys want to do. I don't want to be tarred with the same brush.

It's not exactly the same. On there you can see nested quotes, but on here you have to make an effort and do it manually.

I think if any punters tried to disguise themselves as a WG they would get found out straight away. They think differently to us and women detect that very quickly. I think even the supposed male providers stand out, and they don't contribute much. They are even bigger whingers than the girls.

Which shows that for all its failings, SAAFE is does a good job on the whole. It's a valuable source of information for WGs on tossers like him, and the many other scumbags that pollute AW and generally make things difficult for genuine punters.

Just like we detect when a prossie is pretending to be a punter on here or some stupid pimp is trying to tout even if they are playing the long game.
