I could understand if he was just sat nearby the parlour, in his car or something, and taking snaps of men going in & coming out then picking a victim & following them home, but to get pics of him actually with an SP?

The blackmailer turned up at the railway station with false number plates..of course its all planned. He's probably done it before but the victim paid up so we will never know

I can't see any mention of him telling his wife about the blackmail, this guy may still be blackmailing others if the guy had to come clean to his wife about what he was up to, it seems to have been handled very tactfully!

That was my thought. Crime (as many activities) is a matter of risk and reward. Here the reward is £2.5G; the risk (apart from the legal system) is you try it on someone with leverage who will proceed to ruin your life. Although the latter might be unlikely, keep doing it and the chances increase. The risk and reward do not balance.

It's directly opposite the train station, and obviously a farely busy road.
Anybody motivated could easily view people going in/out from the station or nearby.
I would suspect this guy has done this before and got away with it, the false plates seem to confirm this.

The report states he was threatened with "incriminating photographs of the victim visiting a sex worker at a massage parlour." If the photo's were just him walking in or out, it might be hard to explain to the wife, but that's not totally incriminating. Especially if it was a legit looking massage parlour with extra's on the side, or even just an unmarked entrance on a road. As KoolKeef also mentioned, my first thought was how did the dickhead manage to incriminating photo's without inside help?

If it was a more private parlour/brothel. One where the girls come into the reception area to greet the punters wearing very little. Then possibly the dickhead could have been waiting inside himself and surreptitiously used his phone or maybe even a hidden camera. I've never been to a place like that where the lobby could be viewed from outside.

I don't punt in that area. Do you know if Bubbles is an establishment that has a lobby like that?

Thanks for the link to that article. After also checking out google street view I can see what you mean. It's not at all surprising that it's notorious. A photo showing you crossing that threshold would be enough to get any wife suspicious and fuming. No need for compromising shots with a half naked WG.

It's been many years since I visited a parlour. Basically, not since discovering AW. I know of plenty around London. The vast majority are much more discrete than that place. No doubt many guys, are aware of them. Plus I would have thought some women might have heard of some of them via gossip, but most would be completely unaware.

Well done to the guy that went to the Police. He probably realised a blackmail scam is never ending. However, it is no wonder Mr Dickhead was grinning as he walked out of court. I would not be surprised if he has lots of other punters on the hook. Paying him blackmail money on a regular basis. He may even be cocky enough to go back and try to photo some other parlour customers in the future.
