I don't know, but why would you want to?  :unknown:

If you know the 6 or 7 digit number of the profile, that's the one at the end, then the public profile photos might still be there. Older profiles had a 6 digit number.

(eg. 5724009 which makes the profile link External Link/Members Only)

Then substitute it for the 5724009 number in the following links.

External Link/Members Only

But that's about the only part of the profile you'll still see.

as long as the drive hasn't mechanically failed, these two programs are good at restoring lost data

the free version of Recuva is usually enough

Diskdigger is another one, the same thing happened to me in that the machine formatted the wrong fucking drive. But as Scutty says if it is mechanically fucked then so are you.  :hi:

Wouldn't go past the 'Enter' / 'Leave' page every time I've tried .

I've never managed to make it work: on the indexed pages the backend database appears not to be in the expected location - or not  there at all, so nothing works. Basically you get the main page and little else

Glad it wasn't just me, I had a quick look earlier and didn't get past there either.  Figured I was doing something wrong, but I guess not.

I'm far from an expert but the Wayback Machine works well with static webpages which have fixed addresses, those are easy for it to archive, whereas Adultwork pulls pages from a live database and I guess WM isn't able to access the database itself to index/ copy it.  Best bet is to save webpages for future reference as you go. :)

That's exactly what the OP did, the problem he has is the HD he had them stored on fucked up and he's lost them all.

Similar thing exists with the verification photos, sometimes an SP will have closed down the profile page, take for example this SP:

External Link/Members Only

But if you load another SPs verification pic then use the cut and paste the first SPs ID into the URL like this:

External Link/Members Only

Then you can see the verification picture

I had a hard drive that stopped working presumably due to mechanical reasons (motor).. I removed it from the PC, put it in a hard drive caddy, wrapped it up in a couple of plastic bags and stuck it in the freezer overnight. The next day, I unwrapped it and connect it via a lead to a different PC, and it the drjve started working again, slowly at first but eventually freed up completely and has been working ever since.

I fitted an SSD to my laptop about 2 years ago, then about 6 months ago the laptop wouldn't boot, wouldn't even switch on, thought the power supply had failed again, as it had in the past, so ordered a new power supply expecting it to fire up, but still dead.  Reseated memory modules and checked every plug on the motherboard, but no cure, turned out the SSD was goosed, so much for solid state drives being much more resilient.

I have a old traditional hard drive from about 2010 full of porn that I kept hold of even though it had the click of death, was quoted £500 for a lab to swap the platters over at the time, but decided against it.  Was just looking on youtube and actually seems quite simple to do mechanical repairs as long as you know what your doing.  Ordered a set of combs from ebay to fit the drive, and also lucked out and found a drive with the same model, batch and firmware version on ebay.  So just need to work out a way to minimise the chances of dust landing in the drive while i swap bits over.

Understood, unfortunately I don't think there's any way to delve back through Adultwork, it would be good to know if there was a way.

One thing that might work is if any of the SP's had their own websites, even if those have disappeared from the web, they might have been saved on the Wayback Machine.  Worth a shot perhaps, while researching I've been surprised how many indies have a website or blog, even though it isn't always easy to find.
