Hi
I'm not registered with AW but I do browse the site.
Tonight I got this to my email inbox.
Very worrying.
Very disturbing if your partner has access to your emails.
Anyone else getting these?

I see the auto-censor has removed their name, that means they must have spammed UKP in the past for me to have put their site on the censor list.

I'm certain some of the DDoS attacks against this site in the past have been from such spammers who wanted revenge from me banning them and not letting them use UKP to launch their shitty AdultWork-clone sites.

It's worrying if they are targeting non registered browsers to AW by email.
Could cause serious concerns to others too :(

If you're not registered how have they got your email address.

This is my concern.  :scare:
I've never applied to any sex sites what so ever, except UKP.
Yes I browse the girls there, looking  ;)
If my email/phone etc can be tracked and spammed too, it raises serious concerns for those of us who risk emails being read by partners

Why have you not got a punting email ?

Sounds like you gave it to someone who sold it on ?

I get a lot of spam emails not many sex ones but fake talktalk ones and so one i have mozilla thunderbird which sorts out the rubbish emails from the good.

I don't use a punting email because I don't use the 1 I have.
Certainly would never use my usual email on sites like AW.

But regardless, I've NOT signed up there and getting a email from there or similar site mentioning there was a real scare.

Someone is obviously able to scan what device I was using and find my email used.
I assume lots of guys are using personal or business emails as well as punting emails.

What did you use here ? Not personal ?

Have you ever emailed a prossie using the email address that you received this message?

Because a certain AW-rival site once had setup fake profiles and harvested the emails / phone numbers of any punter who contacted those profiles and spammed them.

Never contacted anyone other than phone or text.
And I use a separate phone for punting, not my daily phone. Put credit on by cash, and never registered the sim.

Never used my email for punting in any way shape or form
Never would.
Just didn't expect to see this in my inbox.
Put a Spam block on the address and hopefully won't see another.

Just over a month ago one of the Dorsex girls posted the following on the Dorsex General Forum. She also has a profile on AW.

"Last week I received a text from Adultwork telling me to send my log in details, passwords, date of birth etc to an email address that was included in the text. It said my details were needed for security reasons and that if I didn’t comply my profile would be deleted!

It looked very genuine but beware, this is a scam!

On the help page AW says they’ve heard of this text going round and to never give out information as once the scammers have it they will take over the profile."

Perhaps one or two scams doing the rounds in the name of AW.........??
