Author Topic: Covering my Tracks - Can anyone suggest a way round this?  (Read 2898 times)

Recent experience suggests I need to get some 'meds' on-line.  Alternative sources are not suitable.  However, it is critical that any transaction does not appear on a statement from a bank or credit card etc.

I thought I cracked it with PaySafeCard which can be topped up with cash at selected outlets.  AW accepts it too.

So I go online at Lloyds and get to the point of payment to find they only accept visa or mastercard :dash:

A quick try on Superdrug and they are the same with the addition of PayPal.  However, PayPal can only be topped up from a bank account :dash:

By the way, my final requirement is that I cannot postal deliveries, but must collect myself.

At the moment, I don't see a way round this :unknown: which is a problem going forward.

Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated

I got an Ffrees Visa card.  It was delivered though.  But the day it arrived i pretended it was a cold call piece of shit and binned it without even paying much attention.  Retrieved  it later. I use it for all sorts of things like parking in strange places and emergency cash.

Never verified so it expires in 2018 and I don't think I can renew. Will sort out a plan then. I think another PAYG card of some kind. Good for now I'll worry about 2018 later.

it is not MI5-proof level of security - there are traces to an expert I would think.  But fine for me.

Why not just go to ASDA and pay cash?

Get divorced and become a single free man or go into therapy to help you stop punting.

Agreed. Sounds like the OP is hen-pecked and under the thumb.

No-one has, or ever will, go through my bank statements to see how I spend my own money.  :hi:

The real hardcore way would be to buy bitcoins in cash - finding a dealer using localbitcoin then, there are many sites you can find on clearnet and darknet to acquire whatever it is you want to buy.

Why not just go to ASDA and pay cash?

Works if you have a prescription which will end up on your medial records if you go to the GP.  It is there forever.

Going online you avoid this but tehn can't pay!

Can't you get a pre-pay MasterCard at some newsagents and use that?

If it works then Lloyds Pharmacy you can order online and collect - if you can get over the fact their prices are not very competitive .....

The challenges of your overly shared finances I guess....Bet you're regretting that on a regular basis ....

Do we actually know what these meds are?  :unknown:

If it's Viagra you want just walk into Asda pharmacy have a quick interview with the pharmacist (false name if you like) pay cash and walk out with it. No checks nothing on your medical record, just as visits to gum clinic aren't.      :hi:

I use Asda. They asked me who my GP was though on my first visit. I didn't care, I'd already given them my real personal details cos I was there due to them being handy AND cheap - anonymity didn't matter to me.

Thanks GB.  Good to know what the process is.

Adsa do not contact your GP, they advise you tell him or her , so its up to you. you need an Asda with a pharmacy that is certified to dispense ED meds, then a short questionnaire then they will dispense , no need for pescription

Offline Steady Eddy

Thanks all.

Asda seems like plan a now.

You can get a Pre-paid Visa Card at the bigger Tesco/Sanisbury/Morissons superstores. You can add it to your PayPal as well and pay using that. Buy using cash. You can't top it so buy, use and get another one. Everytime you buy it, there is a £3.95 activation charge.
