I may be in Shanghai for an extended trip
Firstly, how on earth do you plan to get out here? I was of the belief that if you aren't a Chinese citizen, the borders are currently closed. In order to get in to China you need a PU letter (in addition to a visa) but PU letters aren't being issued at the moment. Rumours are that you can get in to the country if you have had the Sinovac vaccine in addition to a pre-existing visa, but obviously that's not something you'll be able to get in the UK. Really curious about this so would appreciate a PM if you don't want to make this information public.
Anyway, the paid for sex scene in China is a load of shite as a westerner, but luckily for you Shanghai has
some options. None that I can particularly recommend really, but options:
1. Pick up bars - Manhattan and Julie's bar are the two you want to go to in Shanghai. Both relatively close to each other. Get a taxi (DiDi is so cheap its laughable really). There will be a load of, mainly Viet, girls in the bars around 9-10pm albeit less than there would normally be given that the borders are closed. They are all freelancers. Smile and they will approach you, then negotiate. 1-1.5K RMB shortime (this is one pop in China and not a defined time), not sure about overnight rates. Getting a girl in to a hotel has never been an issue.
2. Escorts. This scene is really underdeveloped in China compared to the UK. Although I've never used her, this girl has multiple good reviews on another forum:
External Link/Members Only and
External Link/Members Only Reports suggest mid 30s (but I mean shes Asian, so probably still looks younger than a 25yo Brit) and a decent GFE w/ Kissing, but nothing too extreme. Multiple reports suggest this agency (some Beijing, some Shanghai) offers a functional, if unremarkable, service:
External Link/Members Only3. Massage. I dont think legit massage exists in Asia and its basically code for getting at least a HJ. Various crackdowns by authorities though mean that saunas change their rules all the god damn time. You might get a HJ, a BJ or, albeit unlikely, FS. You may have to negotiate hard in these places though as I've heard silly starting quotes being given to westerners for extras, like 3k for a BJ. YMMV though.
4. Tinder / WeChat. Tinder profiles with revealing pictures are escort profiles. WeChat -> Discover -> Anyone with a revealing photo (lots of skin or bikini photos) is an escort. I haven't used this site but consider
External Link/Members Only to be a head start in this game. It'll give you the girls WeChat on the profiles, so you'll at least avoid searching aimlessly. Pictures are always airbrushed in China (some of the filters/apps they have turn 4s in to 9s) and it'll probably not be photos of her anyway. Performance will be functional because she will know you won't be repeating, so again YMMV.
5. If you are thin or in anyway reasonable looking or better, I'd probably just recommend setting up a Tinder profile ahead of time. Western guys are quite desired + Shanghai women are quite westernised in their views. When I was last in Shanghai I saw a western guy who looked about 50 with an absolute stunner probably in her late 20s or early 30s. You'll get to see a bit of the city this way too.
6. 1k+ rates are westerner rates. Chinese locals pay 6-800 for FS (for 2 hours/ 1 pop as standard) w/ incall girls. Example website here (with some reviews) but you'll need google translate and a lot of the girls will just flat out refuse westerners:
External Link/Members Only I also think you need to pay for the contact details of girls posted about in reviews. Street girls charge even less but I have no idea where these areas are in Shanghai. If you feel like going full local you can probably get FS there for 400 RMB or so. Example of the setup:
External Link/Members Only This is actually a video of a Shanghai location, but good luck finding these places and good luck negotiating if you cant speak Mandarin. Truly bizarre set ups those though, you literally walk in to peoples front rooms and theres 1-5 girls sitting there on their phones that I presume are all available.
7. Depends how far you wanna push it, but if you're there on business ask whoever is hosting you by bringing up the subject in a tactful way. They will know more than anyone here. Its pretty accepted in Chinese society but I completely get why you wouldn't want to flat out ask.
