I’m back on the pussy punting pathway (try saying that after a couple of sherbets) on my second Asian leg of my Around The World in Eighty Lays tour of Global mega-punting destinations. This lengthy voyage will last about. 7 months and will take in the best that Asia and South America has to offer with a dip into Australasia in between.

I like Jakarta. It is the great underrated punting destination of SE Asia. Like Manila it is fairly hard going with its nasty big city ambience, lethal traffic jams and smog.but also, like Manila, it. Is choc full of available young ladies just gagging to open their legs for the mighty foreign dollar king. My kind of town.

SA works fine here but, like a lot of places now, Tinder is the preferred modus operandi of local amateurs and professionals in their hunt for foreign victims. I’ve only been here for a matter of days but have already enjoyed a couple of pleasant dalliances and have been deluged by a torrent of willing applicants for the temporary use of my whopping white whanger (I jest...perhaps😂). I'm in Jakarta for the weekend at the start of October and planning on going to Colosseum. A few years ago Stadium and the X2 Club in Plaza Senayan used to be the place to pick up girls, Stadium club was seriously intimidating though!!

During the day I find girls in Jakarta quite easy to engage with, whether it be at the malls or parks etc. Maybe it's the lack of tourism that makes girls more approachable rather than the constant procession of foreign guys in other south east Asian metropolises which makes the tourist, business traveller become an everyday sight.

Jakarta has a poor reputation generally, which is a shame really as I always find the city a bewildering, chaotic, gigantic hotbed of fun and adventure.

I havent been for a while and I just read Maribaya 6th floor @ Hotel Melawai is closed 😢 Had many a decent few hours in there.

I was never really into the club scene, although that's where the majority of the young hot stuff will hangout. I used to spend a lot of time in Le Meridian basement, maybe Red Square in in Senyayan, basement of Park Lane in Cassablanca. That was my operational triangle between south Jakarta to Thamarin. 

I remember stadium bring daunting. Is it still 24 hours? One crazy place. Embassy was more my thing if wanted to club.

I also read blok M is almost dead. I used to stay in  Ambhara especially to be with walking distance of 'the strip'

Have a good time, stay safe. I'm planning to get across late Dec or early Jan if I can but probably Singapore will provide what I'm looking for as I'd need to keep a low profile once out of CGK😢

Well actually I’m not Muslim but I am British of Indonesian heritage, so sorry if it offends me a little  and no I’m not a sympathiser. Read carefully. Vivago (but I could have been anyone) was not even disparaging the call to prayer or even slagging off Islam: he was merely expressing his annoyance with it — not by going down to the mosque and giving them abuse but privately on this forum.

Read the Forum rules. The definition of abuse on here is very clear and also the tolerance and latitude to posts on religious or political matters. You’re free to lurk (or free to fuck off) but don’t come laying some extraneous ‘morality’ on other members of the Forum. Our tradition is one of being free to criticise and even, within reason, to cause offence. Modern fucked-up Islam isn’t so tolerant. That’s Islam's Problem.

My own view is that the call to prayer is indeed often fucking offensive. Only one in a hundred has any sense of tuneful. And the use of loudspeakers means it is inflicted on those that don’t particularly want to be woken up after a hard night’s shagging. But in a muslim country there’s fuck all to do but like it or lump it. Similar to your ‘complaint’ on here if I may say so: like it or lump it.
