Many years ago, I was told by one woman that she only worked during the week, because at the weekend, most clients were at home with their families. Also, many men were taking advantage of being away from their home area with work, and being able to make various claims on expenses (probably not so much any more). Many European agencies offer a better rate for the weekend than for two days during the week, as business is slow.
