Election polls generally ask more that 14 people.
I grant you it's a way to initiate a debate but your rationale is very flawed. You're looking at a brief snapshot of 14 reviews most of which are likely written recently but some may have been written last year or before but just get bumped up to the top after someone has added a new post. I'd also hypothesise that, in general, people reply/respond more to negative reviews than positive ones so there is a higher concentration of negs towards the top of the list at any given time.
There are too many other variables involved (e.g. mood of the country, shrinking pool of SPs, rising costs and lower VFM, stagnant membership) to come up with anything more than a subjective view. However, personally, yes we're sliding into a dip as far as punting is concerned.
