This is probably not going to further the topic in the direction the OP wanted. But on watching a documentary about it if a man wants to get into porn. The only true way to make it worthwhile and get some decent cash from it is to enter Gay porn.

I think they're unlikely to talk down the industry they're in and which is their living. Also, the top people in any profession are usually doing something they love.

There've been many behind the scenes exposes by people in the industry.
