Mandatory age verification for all AdultWork UK members

 On AWs "whats new" page I noted the following.
Anticipated February 2019    All UK Members    Mandatory Age Verification

Does this mean all us punters have to have face pictures with todays news paper, or CC details proving we are old enough to be on AW.

   
In April 2018 new regulation will come into force requiring that no adult content can be accessed by anyone who has not verified that they are an adult.

AdultWork.com has been age-verifying members automatically since 2015.  If you have purchased credits via SMS, credit card or PaySafeCard then you are already age verified and your browsing experience will remain unchanged.  Similarly, if you are offering services and have achieved Verified Member status then you too will see no change.

If you have not age verified yet, we would invite you to do so without delay to ensure an uninterrupted browsing experience.  You can age-verify quite simply via this page.

There appears to be 4 options as follows
Choose one of the methods below to verify your age...
   1.    Buy Credits using a credit card - Immediate verification
   
   2.    Send an SMS from a mobile phone with access to 18+ services - UK Citizens only
   
   3.    Buy a PaySafeCard at your local PayPoint - Completely anonymous
   
   4.    Supply ID and become a Verified Member - has many benefits for service providers
   

Looks like No 3 will be the favourite

(set up using a wildly inaccurate spelling of your name for good measure)
may hopefully be enough to do the job

Surely AW must realise they can't be too stringent about ID

Well thats what I think. Theres no way I'm going to give my ID up. Rediculous.

What's wrong with No. 2? Send an SMS from your punting phone & it should be ok.

Your network provider will need to be satisfied you are over 18 and thus flagged your account as "over 18". Think it varies from network to network how they do it but it normally involves some sort of credit check or submission of credit card details. You can't just buy a SIM with cash, bung it in your phone and then access 18+ material like porn or gambling.
Basically, SMS from punting phone will only work if you've consciously got it registered as belonging to an adult.

You can get the paysafe cards from co op etc and use to buy credits - no name/no pack drill - only downside is giving Aw £10 that you can only use on pg etc

As I have bought Credits it seems I'm already in.

I would think that;

Buy a PaySafeCard at your local PayPoint - Completely anonymous.

Has to be the way to go.

Easy to do, untraceable and youcan use the credits for RB's, veiwing Galleries or SMS messging.

I'm not sure what the minimum purchase is as I normally buy £10 at a time for RB's.

I think that this is mandatory under new laws.

I age verified by punting mobile ages ago  - just went into network shop & they removed the content block  - did it in seconds - never asked for any ID so totally anon .

Looking at the quality of the verification pictures checks done by AW,
I guess that you could Google for "passport uk" and send the first picture found to AW and they'd approve your account

PaySafe is the easiest and most anonymous way to do it imo.  Walk in, pay cash, walk out, give voucher number to aw, and then you're done.  Except then you need to figure out what to spend your credits on.  I've not figured that one out yet.

Private galleries perhaps. I havent topped up my credit for over 3 years but with this age verification I guess that will change

When I check my age verification on AW, it say's Verified. Am I missing something, with all the posts on here about it.
