A Bristol MP on the news last night suggested outlawing punting.
...She then went on to say "I meet 10/15 punters per day, every day, for years". Well over a 3 yr period that's about 10,000 punters. They cant all be "the most repellent" of anyone she has ever met!
Its basically crap sensationalist journalism.

It just shows that the BBC and politicians are fucking stupid and ignorant. They don't understand the difference between trafficking and escorting, thinking all sex workers are forced into this job so punting should be banned.
They are too dumb to realise there is nothing wrong with two consensual people having sex and that the world's "oldest profession" will always exist; forcing it underground would put sex workers at greater risk.
Most do it out of their own choice and many actually enjoy it, at least most of the time.
And, as has been said, if they don't like it, like this stupid bitch, then they should just quit.
