I've been to India several times, and while there is a high temptation for a cheap fck, it's not for the wary.
There are brothels in backstreets, where I was told by my host in India, that there is a high degree of trafficking (particularly under age young girls from Nepal), not particularly clean, lots of bareback and disease. India is still a relatively poor country, and there are more people that live on the streets under plastic sheets than the population of the UK. That's not a flippant remark, it's true, and I've seen them in the streets opposite my hotel in Kolkata, and also they live under flyovers. It's dire.
A lot of these street brothels are a succession of alleyway linked tent-like buildings and wooden sheds, dimly lit and places rife to be robbed at knifepoint, 'rooms' separated by sacking stiched together or a plastic sheet. I was taken along the GB Road in New Delhi, near the main train station, and OMG....rife with pimps, pickpockets, people shitting in the street and all manner of lowlife, lots with hideous deformaties.
You other option is an Indian escort agency, where while you will get a better class of lady who is a match for a Bollywood Babe, the prices they charge are on a par with UK. A short time (one pop) is around 20,000 rupees (That's £200) which is crazy for a third world country. See here -

I did try a 'want' ad on an Indian website a bit like Gumtree/Viva St, but it seemed to attract TVs and gays!!
Many Indian girls are stunning, with beautiful bodies, and I've experienced one in the Midlands (who no longer works), but it's your decision, your money, etc.
One option may be to talk to the hotel concierge, and 500 rupees or more could work. As long as he doesn't misunderstand and finds you a plump 40-year old !
