Although these threads about age are posted time and time again, I have a real liking for them. Mostly because it shows me that my days are far from over. I tip my hat to our veteran brethren! 

I am late 40s. Been through some godawful health stuff in 2020 (yes, the worst year possible to be in need of a major operation!). But I am back to full speed, and save for a rather noticeable operation scar I am in much better fettle than I have been since my 20s. I went up Scafell Pike, Snowdon, Helvelyn, Pen y Fan and a load of other big peaks in the last few months.

Next logical step is to get back to my 'hobby'. I'm meeting an old favourite next week and even contemplating my first 'party'.

In my 40's over here - not long until half a century where I'll likely arrange something devilishly naughty for that milestone.
