I think it's a good thread -- but it shows the Forum's maybe not ideal for such in-depth discussion topics.

I won't be making anymore threads anyway, this was the last one. I agree, I have noticed that aswell. If it comes to surface level topics that have no meaning like which celeb are you suprised to see naked etc, people are ready to engage but anything that potentially requires more in-depth discussion or questioning people think it's pointless, which is fine; but I don't go on other peoples threads saying their thread is pointless.  It's a shame but oh well. Makes me wonder where all these "sophisticated, educated, gentlemen, businessmen" WGs are advertising for actually are  .

You are saying no one is interested in depth discussion, yet you started a thread that is just a list and has gone to a 9 page list, but you have refused to discuss with anyone on it, in depth or otherwise, the reasons behind it being 9 pages long, you shot anyone down who tried to open discussion.

No not quite. Hardly anyone joined the discussion.

I was tempted as it’s an interesting topic but I try to limit my time on the board and on this one I’d probably also end up making very long posts (and no, I don’t post on which celebrity naked).

Neither did I post on naked celeb lol, it is an interesting topic that I have discussed before and very obviously, judging by 9 pages, very much a London problem, unless I have not seen similar threads elsewhere.

There must be a reason behind it, surely a 9 page list says it is a problem, even allowing for double posts, that is a lot, just making a list will change nothing, discussion may not either, but it may do more than a list.

What the NBA thread? It's specifically for record keeping not a discussion. I mentioned that many times, even on the start of my post. There's been many debates on NBAs and ethnic bars. It will just go round in circles. Anyone is open to create a thread, I won't tell them not to or it is a waste of time. What does that have to do with this off topic thread? My point was I don't go round telling people their threads are pointless on an off topic board, I just ignore it.

Just to repeat, this thread will only be to keep a record to save punters time and have an idea of what to expect if they still want to try to engage contact to try their luck.....I don't really have much interest in debating NBAs or other ethnic bar policies anymore; but a record must be kept as it has reached a stage that it is quite pervasive.

This thread is to keep a record to help punters make a decision and to be aware. This thread is more a notice so people have a reference point. There's a lot of discussion around NBAs and ethnic bars, more black punter members popping up on this site, yet there has never been a thread to give updates and notices. We can't just leave it as random discussions that some punters may not see; it needs to be documented properly so punters can navigate the punting world easier and have a better punting experience. I think it will also reduce shock value for new ethnic punters seeing an NBA ethnic policy thread and realising quickly there are bar policies in effect. When I first saw policies I was sad, if a thread like this was in place I could have accepted it far quicker and navigated punting far more easily at a quicker rate than having to learn the long way.


I'm not bothered by how long this thread will eventually become, this is the reality of punting for punters who are not white lol.

I hope this answer your question on why there is no discussion on that thread and I keep telling people no. I'm surprised that thread has made it on an off topic thread  .

All that does is repeat what you have said, a growing problem that obviously bothers you or you would not have started the thread, but you do not want to look into the reasons it is a growing problem, so every black man gets tarred with the same brush where ever they come from and how they respect women or behave while paying for sex ?
It is obviously largely a London problem, your ever growing list must be for some reason, I do not remember it being a major problem over the years but you are highlighting one now, yet you do not want to find out what could be behind it.

I think social media is a ‘problem’ as it encourages unthinking opinions through ‘likes’ and ‘influencers’ and clickbait. Black men being refused by escorts is not an issue worth pursuing in my opinion as it involves personal sexual preference.

Many issues have been ‘done to death’ as newbies will start new threads on topics that have already been answered.

It’s one thing to post information. If you want a discussion though, it’s generally better to actually ask people what they think.

Fair comment, I only discuss punting with 3 guys privately really, 2 on here and one of my friends and workmate, 2 are black and neither gets too bothered by this issue, in fact my mate enjoys his punts every time and has never mentioned being refused at all.
