Takeout from NY strip clubs..?

One thing I've been doing is trying to get girls at the indie strip clubs (eg rosewood) to come back to my hotel. The ones who entertain the idea usually say $1k, and they don't really bargain much. I've never taken them up on their offer (although $1k, if it's an overnighter, with a hot girl you've picked out is not bad by NY standards). Anyone had success with this? Worth it or not?

I got a stripper to visit my hotel in Baltimore a few years ago, she was hot but it was bad value for money  ie time spent for price paid. Plus all the cash I spent at the club the previous night buying drinks for me($8) and her($20) setting up the deal
