Maturing As a Punter....What does it mean to you?

1 year ago I started my punting journey and had the kid in the candy shop mentality. I wanted to punt everything in existence and then some more.

I would punt just for the sake of it and stay when I know I should have walked

1 year on with many hours of punting experience under my belt I feel I've matured a lot as a punter. I have no issues being assertive when I need to, I have no issues walking when I need to and I know exactly what I want from a punt and how to get it

I've also found myself becoming more specific and having certain parameters within which I punt and if a provider does not fall into those parameters they are instantly disregarded. I've found this helps to control my punting and also has re added some of the excitement that I used to feel at the beginning of this hobby as now when I do come across a provider that fall within my parameters its quite exciting

For me now its this

FILMING
If Im filming its £20-£30 max extra and must be with face. I'll only accept no face on film if the provider has an incredible body

If these conditions are not met I wont film

SERVICE

Cost / Duration / Service

£40 /15min / any combination of OW + Sex + COB

£50 / 15 min / minimum OWO + cim or facial (if its oral only) OR OWO + sex + cim/facial/cob

£60 / 15 min / specialist DT OWO + Facial + CIM                  - this is a very rare category

£70 / 15 min / you and your profile can fuck off 

£80-£100 / 30 min / specialist DT OWO + OWO + Sex + Facial + CIM + Paticularly physically attractive(to me)      - this is a very rare category

If these conditions are not met at a minimum I wont book

LOCATION

Hotels

Private Apartments

Location cannot be a premises with multiple occupants e.g. big working houses

If these conditions are not met I will not book

Not sure if ive matured or even needed too.  Although my gut instinct on profiles and reviews has been finely tuned.

I used to look out for "forum darlings" after all, how could 15 ukp reviews be wrong?  Thats partly bollox, i pick the whore that I want to fuck not the ones other people say are good.

Like you say I think it means being able to do the following;

1. Being more selective on who you will actually go and see and not just seeing anyone.

2. Being more battle weary of some of the tricks working girls will pull and stuff they will come up with. Either to allow them to time waste in punts, or to garner sympathy out of you so you leave them positive comments or white knight for them.

3. Being able to walk when things are not acceptable

4. Being able to not be taken for a ride if girls want to take advantage of you. As in being able to stand up for yourself and say "hang on a minute there" to working girls when any attempt to try it on.

5. Not being afraid to ask the girls what services you want.

6. Not being afraid to negative review the girl when it's a poor punt.

7. Being able to sport more things that seem 'not right'

This is what I would class as the signs you have matured as a punter. As when you start all 6 are pretty daunting. To be totally honest. I have been punting for over 5 years now and I still haven't got all of those down yet so I am definitely not matured as a punter.

So Maturing As a Punter....What does it mean to you?

1. price is fixed 60 to 120. if 120 once a month if 60 x2 a month.
2. plan and fix ahead. aka look for 2 or 3 days. call few times, make sure she says the same shit as first call. same voice. same attutide.
3. judge her attutide for common asked questions.
4. ask for what you want and if there are any exections.
5. when does the time start? after shower or before? is the shower good quality or shit? and i do use the word shit.
6. check the location, find buses and price of cabs. find local road to  park in. if same road make sure it is 20 doors away.
7. have the keys, wallet and mobile in pasfic pockets of the jacket. i use the same pokect for my keys for last 20 years. change goes in one, notes in another etc.
8. check the contents in front of her. zip up and place jacket below your other clothes and know the order.
9. After shower check if clothes moved, once again look at the phone for time and to show her or them you are aware.

what took you 2 days to earn is disspearing in 1 hour. make it count.

On top of the sound advice above, I will travel quite some distance by car. Every since I got a parking ticket at a hotel, which I'd previously been to several times, I now research Google Earth to see where I'm going to park the car as I never park at a private house, apartment or hotel these days. Yes it sounds paranoid but I see no reason to take unnecessary risks.

I have changed in the two years I have been punting.

Finding this and a local one helped no end with selections and my developement. I no longer see a punt and arrange something for me checking her out as much as I can is part of the fun. I have had more successes then failures since and I have learned to walk away from something that was going to go bad.

I follow a strict pattern of visiting my regular lady and a 'wildcard' visit of between £50 and £140 from an annual budget of a grand. So far this year I am in front and plan a dearer punt over in Scunny with a special porn star of sorts.

I rarely visit more then once as I like variety as I like the regular, life is good.

As I'm still very much in the "kid in the candy store" early phase of punting, I feel that I have no idea what I'm doing yet, and I do feel that I still have a alot of things to learn that are no doubt pretty obvious to more experienced punters.

Oh, and @punther, 121 punts in 1 year?  Damn, I'm jealous.  Sounds like this has been a fairly expensive hobby for you in a short period of time, but I would probably do the same thing if my schedule allowed, which sadly it does not

Back in the old days (on my first punt) I walked for 2 hours with a friend to get to it. Ended up getting rejected at the door because I was too young (was 17) back when I was 18 I used to choose looks over service. I would put up with anything a woman had and take soviet union customer service.

Nowadays I certainly wouldn't walk 2 hours for a punt and I actually have some standards. The main thing is I have learnt what I like sexually.

Personally I think age brought about this change which I bought into the punting world as opposed to punting changing me.

More "professional" approach to getting it.  (I wrote that meaning that I use multiple information sources, careful review profiles, keep HLs etc etc.  However on reflection it also means that I am more careful on security and privacy and that I deal with the girls more like a business that I am buying a service from.)

121 dosnt include the odd one I have not reviewed or girls ive seem multiple times

The actual number of total punts is much much higher

It has been pricey but this year I decided to just treat myself now I've gotten it out of my system things are more normal now

Google maps is very very handy

You can check the street beforehand, check parking signs and hours of operation and close by streets for spots to park if neccessary

As you say there is no need to take unnecessary risks and you cant be too careful...especially if you have anything to lose

For me, maturing after 2years or so punting seems to mean turning a bit dull and pre-dominantly seeing 2/3 WGs repeatedly.....I'm wondering if it is just a phase, but still very enjoyable so I don't agonise over it too much

Reluctant to take as much of a risk as I might in the past, all of which means I end up seeing a regular more often.

A bit like the OP, for the first 18 months I was like a pig in muck, couldn't get through them fast enough. Now, they go on the list and I'll see if they come to the top. If not, I ditch 'em. They have to really interest me now to get a turn.
