Escorts asking for a face pic or do a webcam before punt

Why is there a trend for escorts asking for a face pic of a punter before the meet. I have read profiles of escorts asking for this requirement. What is shocking is that punters are happy to do this. Just look at twitter. You will see tweets from men doing a selfie on a escorts page.

Is this a normal request that is now popular in the punting community? If so I guess the new generation of punters having nothing to lose.

I’ve had this request once, the punt never happened as I got the impression she was a scammer but I declined to send the pic. I’ve had a few escorts ask if my whattaspp pic is really me before (which it is) and that’s been the end of it. My point is that I guess some SPs are picking clients based on looks but that’s probably a minority and the rest just want your cash.

I think sending a face pick is all right, if you feel comfortable with it. I've done it a few times. The webcam one, though, I do have a problem with. I would feel very uncomfortable with that, and it also means they likely want to make money off you first before they even consider meeting with you. At least I think so.

I think those who are taking selfies with WG really have nothing to lose in their day to day lives. I see it primarily with WG who are heavy on the BDSM front.

I’ve only sent a face picture once and that was because I needed to scratch this one off the punting list. I don’t think it’s a trend but I’ve seen it here and there. Wouldn’t recommend it as most of us like our privacy and once you’ve sent it they’ve got that forever

Did you read the part I quoted that I was responding to?  I didn't say it didn't happen, I said it isn't a trend. 1% of independent escorts on AW would be 163, could you find anywhere near that number that do ask for face pics or video before a booking.

Sounds to me like something that could lead to a blackmail attempt. And remember it will always be out there.

Possibly girls that make the transition from SA are used to asking for pics. But for me its a definite red flag!

Only a complete idiot would send a pic to an SP.

Last time I got asked for a face pic I sent her a picture of some money and asked 'is this face pic good enough for you?'.

Never heard from her after that.

If they ask for a face pic, block and move onto the next one.

For me It’s in the same category as asking for deposits and is a complete no no. Big privacy concerns for anyone not wishing to leave a ‘paper trail’.
