Never used them in the past but I’d like to enhance my strength by trying one.

I’ve seen that some people mention that the Tesco ones don’t work. People with experience on this, do you have any recommendations on which one to take?

I've been using Sildanefil (the generic name for Viagra) from Superdrug, 50mg (I'm 58)

Works very well for me, take 30mins+ beforehand.

Eropid from local pharmacy - Generic brand for the same compound as V. (Sildenafil). I have had no difference in effect or response to the branded V. It has the same chemical composition as V hence should be no different to the branded version for any user . The Boots own brand version is fairly cheap too, I cannot exactly remember but I believe I paid around £16 for 4. The Eropid I pay around £22/24 for 8 tablets.

Out of the support tools on the market I find this to be the best all round, even when compared to  Tadalafil which is supposed to maintain its effect for upto 36 hours. But it gives me a splitting headache in the morning after. Even the jelly liquid ones give a headache . But the Sildenafil based tablets don’t have any such effects - I’d rather have another tablet instead of a headache anyday.

In short - the generics have been just as good as the branded version, maybe even better as you save afew quid to put into your punting pot !

But do avoid buying more than one pack at a time - otherwise you get asked a 100 questions and eyes of judgement.

I once tried to buy 4 packs of 8. The guy looked at me very puzzled and proceeded to ask … what are you going to do with these ? Like WTF do you think I’m going to do … what took place after was probably the most bizarre conversation with the most random and stupid questions.

Essentially I’m travelling for 2 weeks - I want to be ready at all times - what’s so hard (no pun intended) to understand about this !!!

You don’t see how buying 32 Viagra over the counter will get you a funny look?

Why not just use Lloyds or Superdrug and buy a months supply then pick it up in store?

I will be cheaper and you won’t have to settle for Viagra Connect you can get 100mg and then split the tablets.

Offline jseop109

I used to use Lloyds online with pickup in store. But they closed most of their high street pharmacies. I ordered some taladafil and instead of sending it to my stated pick up point they (or their carrier) delivered to my home address. I haven't used them since.

I now use Superdrug with in-store pickup, and the order is ready in about 2 hours from the online order. You also have to fill in a questionnaire
about any existing meds you are taking, side effects, allergies etc and, all being well, the order is approved by their online doctor.

If you go for e.g. sildenafil (= generic viagra) 50 mg, you could always start by splitting the tablet in two and seeing how you get on.

I wouldn't have thought there could any difference in quality between alternative reputable outlets e.g. Superdrug, Tesco, Asda etc.

Others have mentioned it already, but definitely worth raising this with your GP. It is important to determine the causes of ED. If it is psychological, then viagra can work a treat, but ED can be caused by things like high blood pressure. This is often a silent killer, and has no symptoms. Just worth getting checked out.

Thanks for all the recommendations guys!

I use simpleonlinepharmacy to order

I hink it works out relatively cheaper and no questions asked.  Usually arrives in 2 working days.

Last time I ordered  16 x 100mg for about  25 quid

If using for the first time, i would go with 25mg. and plenty of hydration.  Most common side effect is a headache.

Offline monkmarvey

I get mine on prescription from my GP - and for free as I am over 60.
Tend to take one 30 mins before and then chew another one at the start.
One is never enough for me and chewing gets it working pretty much straight away

Good tip - thanks!

Good tip - thanks!

Just remember, don't overdose! I think the safe limit for viagra in a 24 hour period is 100mg. Someone else can correct me if I am wrong.

Wow! This one worked like a charm with my last punt! I couldn't believe my performance! Thanks for recommending this one!

I also use Simple online pharmacy and go for  Tadalafil 10mg (When Required Dose). You need to fill few questions to show that you do not have any medical conditions(better to check with GP if you actually have any of those). Delivers in couple of days. I order around 32-64 in one go and lasts for few months for me.
One 10mg is enough if you want bit of boost. I never took more than 2 i.e. 20 mg (One 10mg 6 hours before session and another 10 mg right before or during the date(discreetly)...if I feel its going nice and i want bit more fun). I usually go for sugar dating(instead of 1 hour escort) and my meets are usually more than 4-5 hours. And I do it only one meet every couple of weeks so there is enough gap between I use it again.

There is a very minor side effect of feeling slightly heavy on eyes but goes away fast and good hydration. Effect remain from 1-2 days....and you get hard only when you get aroused during the meet.
You can see the difference between Viagra and Tadalafil  on youtube and its better to do some research before you buy anything.

Hey guys,

Sorry if this has already been brought up. Which one is best to take to maintain a erection after the first round? I have only taken Viagra Connect which can work and not keeping erection after the first round.

Which one do you find is the best one to take to maintain performance? I see that Sildenafil has been mentioned on here. Is that the best one?

Thank You.

there are a number of threads on the main national/general board - maybe have a look there.

I tend to read most threads like this and what you get is - many different opinions. some things work well for some guys but not others and some guys get side effects and others get different ones or none at all. But the best advice any one can give you is if you are on any type of medication is talk to your doctor first.

Personally i find Sildenafil works well for me and the only side effect i get is a slightly stuffy nose for a while. I find that i have to take them a good hour before any action and if i have had a meal or a couple of beers, an hour and a half. I find that they help me stay hard but sometimes makes it harder to cum so i last much longer (sometimes too long) and i find a 50g tablet taken at night for nighttime action still has plenty of effect in the morning!!

I think i am right in saying Vigra is just a brand name - and they are in fact the Sildenafil drug.

How quickly you can get up for round 2 is your 'refactory' period.   Some guys may get up in minutes and others, a few hours.  As you get older, the time between getting it up between rounds are longer  :manhater:

I don't believe sildenafil (or Viagra) reduces refractory time.

Man, my last few punts I’ve taken sildenafil for and for two of those punts I took ages to cum and one I didn’t cum at all, maybe it’s the sildenafil causing that

Thank you for all the suggestions & advice. I think I will give Sildenafil a go to see how it compares with Connect.

32 Viagra for 2 weeks suggests you are going to take a significantly higher dose than recommended.

But if you want to be ready at all times then it might be an idea to use Cialis Daily.

Because then you would get 28 days supply.

They all contain the same drug.

There could potentially be slight differences in what filler is used or if you get any side effects like indigestion.

But like generic Ibuprofen or Nurofen, the active ingredient is basically the same.

I could buy generic Cialis but I chose to buy Cialis.

You pays your money etc.
