I wonder just how accessible the AW data is on location when it comes to using it on UKP? AW gives a location based on postcode. It’s not 100% but still useful.

If you are working from a hotlist, no problem ... but what if you are working from UKP reviews?

For a small town it’s easy, but for a bigger town it’s very hard if you don’t know the names of the suburbs. If you are glance through the UKP reviews for say the Big Smoke, vainly searching for a suburb you recognise and could place on a map, it’s really a no go if you’re from out of town. You’d have to click on each one, click on the AW link, scroll down to ‘show a map’, realise it’s too far a trek, then go back to UKP, click on the next positive review and so on.

It would be great to somehow combine a google map feature (as AW does) but with clickable dots indicating all the SPs for a particular area at once. I don’t know how impossible seemed no that would be technically, but it would make SP searches for a big city far more accessible.

A workaround would be to persuade people to insert the postcode in review headers, but that would seem unnatural and not even that helpful to people who live there and already know the place.

Agree that a map-view of a search (like Expedia) would be very helpful, particularly for larger cities. Everything is possible but it requires work and one of the beauties of UKP is the simplicity. Some AW girls move around so tracking where the punt happened vs where the girl is is also a consideration.

Putting in even the outward code into the review headers would be add value IMO particularly for less well-known areas. It really shouldn't be too much hassle, but unlikely to get widespread adoption (punter laziness). I've lived in London for many years but I still look at some London reviews and think "where the fuck is that?"

Great idea Marmalade,
as currently the reviews got :

- title (which must include WG name + general location)
- content of the post

We could have a third one, below the title, saying :

- first part of the postcode (ex : EC2A)

This would make it easy to search for reviews for a specific area.

Sure. The header/postcode gives you an option search for where punts have happened. You'll still need to cross-reference back to AW to see if the girl is still there.
For a real-time map you'd need to get data from AW.

The postcode option has a benefit in that it can cover all punts, not just those sourced through AW.

That would rely on the escort giving the right postcode to start with, I've see loads who advertise and show on the map as in Newcastle city centre NE1 when they're actually located over the river in Gateshead NE8.

I was only talking about the "where the punt happened", I don't think a "live map" is doable at all.

I have done 1 or 2 threads asking reviewers to put the WGs location and first part of the postcode where they punted with them. What I have seen is some just cant be bothered, in fact a few prolific reviewers couldn't or cant even be bothered to put any location at all.

London is of course a big city, some brain dead morons just putting London as some do or have is not helpful to say the least. Nowadays its obvious to me to put London, then the area in London such as Colindale, then the first part of the postcode NW9. How difficult is it to do this, clearly is beyond some or as I say they cant be asked.

It can only work if it's a separate field, and you can't submit the review without filling it up.

And it's easy for the form to check if the field as been filled with a postcode district, by comparing what the punter entered with the full list of all postcodes districts.

The list is there : External Link/Members Only

Of course they don’t always give the right postcode — but enough of them do. If there’s a choice of several nearby why would you spend time and money travelling miles away to ones that have similar ratings?

It could also help someone who’s main reason for visiting the city was punting, as he could choose to stay in a heavily serviced area

Or return to their own country which explains why so many reviews lead to a dead end.

Something like: mapy.sex.cz   (Czech Republic) would be very useful for this country...
