The culture of Romanian men living off wives or girlfriends who bring all of the money into relationship from sex work does not seem to be unusual London. I know of one case where an otherwise intelligent WG fell for an older guy when she was at high school in Romania and has fully supported him in London for nearly five years because "its not worthwhile for him to work when he can only bring in £1,000 per month". She says she had planned to have a medical career at home before meeting this guy but is now a WG in London and has the date of their meeting tattoed on her arm. It's hard to gauge the warped thinking and / or coercion and / or control which sustains such a situation but the use and abuse of girls and women seems to be deeply ingrained within the Romanian culture.

Most of us have been on holiday to places that are stinking cheap to us, Bulgaria and India come to my mind, where those serving us in shops, restaurants, hotels etc. cannot afford the meal we are eating or a beer at the end of a shift, getting your mitts on a good looking youngster and pimping her out must look very appealing.
