Sometimes with new wg's or toftt its risky to book for an hour knowing it may be a useless punt.

Ever booked for an hour but only stayed (and paid) for 30 mins?

Means the wg doesnt bump you fot an hour slot and leaves you stranded.

While some escorts are good, some can be idiots and stop answering the calls or ignoring after its been made and confirmed.

Possible excuses can be anything like need to wake up early the next day, traffic etc.

Whats your succrss rate if you have? Still been a good punt?

My reasoning for this is when you get cancelled or ignored last minute abd you have booked a 30min appointment with an unknown or tourer and theres a strong chance of being cancelled for someone who books a longer time.

I have been "stood up", so many times it makes me mad. I am going to seriously consider this tactic in future, for known unreliables.

Fine take the longer booking, but for Christ sake tell me ASAP, not after I have driven for ages through traffic for you to pretend 'your phone lost signal'

If you want an hour, pay for an hour. If you don't want an hour, then don't ask for it.

+1   With some of the EE's with not such good english things can work in your favour.  I've thought i've made it crystal clear that i've wanted an hour.  But when i've rocked up the question is "do you want 30 mins or 1 hour" ?  If i like what i see & everything has a good feel about it then i stick with the hour.  On the odd occasion then whilst not a 'walk' situation i've gone for the shorter booking.  The little brain in charge & just needing draining [with the difference to be re-invested on a subsequent punt].  The 1/2hr has been accepted without them batting an eyelid.  Just the case of thinking on your feet.  Then if things go unexpectedly well then its likely that an extension will be available - if for no other reason that they've been with you & not able to take another booking

I'd say a better strategy would be to say you'll book for half an hour but that you might like to extend if you get along well.  I don't know if you guys get a lot of cancellations because the escort has an offer of a longer booking, but if that's the case then she has no reason to bump you if she thinks you might extend anyway, plus it's an incentive for her to give a good service and ensure you get along.

I've never had an incidence where my client has said he only wants half an hour instead of the hour, but if I did, I'd be annoyed-just for the reason that you've let me down for the other half an hour that you never intended to take anyway, so I'd think this is likely to get things off on the wrong foot.

As others have said, if I accepted an hour's booking then when I got there said 'Oh, actually, I have to get up early tomorrow, let's do half an hour instead', I'm sure my client would be annoyed, and rightfully so. It's no different.

I've booked for 1hr but only stayed and paid for 30mins, but only because on those occasions I could not get myself going in the trouser department. Therefore staying longer would have just wasted both mine and the girl's time.

I've booked many an hour and only ever intended to stay for 30 mins but I always pay the full amount I don't think it's fair to mess with someone's money. Anyway I can't go longer than that and I don't see the point of hanging about once I'm done. If she's cheap enough it doesn't bother me and I always 'wrongly' assumed that it would be looked upon favourably. Now even if it's not advertised I'll ask for a 30 min appointment and see what they say.

Your suggestion may be perfectly reasonable to you but I'd posit that you seem a bit more reasonable and less insane than the majority of WGs.  Anyway, I don't disagree with you on a human level but there are plenty of conveyor belts out there who won't be able to extend a booking.
