Just a quick question.... why does UKP not allow contact through VPN, which would hide members' activities from prying eyes.....I understand their reason re: trolls, but I'm sure that there must be a way round this? But then again I'm no computer geek......with respectful thanks, Admin and fellow members..

  Unfortunately it's the way things are heading on the WWW for a no accountability free for all, 
YES! you are correct it's the only solution to keep things reasonably open & stable on here.

Things could get fun when carrier grade NAT becomes a thing (ie not everyone has thier own public IP address), but guess for admins this isn't a problem yet.
