Phuket -Thailand

For those who are well-traveled what is Phuket like for punting? I am going to be there for 2 weeks in November for certain recreational reasons and thought I might as well make a punting holiday out of it as well. I know some of the opinions (Jimmy) that a lot of Thailand girls are as rough as old boots but I kind of like the exotic look of a thai girl.

I might try 'long-time' quite a bit while out there just for the experience anyone done this  and that were your thoughts and how does thailand punting differ to UK? Not talking about price wise but more culture wise

The main punting area is Bangla Road, hundreds of pro$$ies to choose from but more expensive than Pattaya, also a fair number of Ladyboys ---------- some very convincing so be careful.

I was going to Phuket for kickboxing but I am thinking maybe I should just make it a full blown punting holiday and go to patts. The place I was aiming to stay at is quite far from Bangla Road.
