Ah, Thanks, didn't spot the blue new review button  :dash:
Might help if it was part of the main headings like the "Post Review" link is but I understand there are some issues for the new admin to sort.
Will post in the next day or so.

I wasn't going to comment on this but as you are yet another one whinging that the site isn't easy enough for you to use I will.

You could always try reading the stickie on the main forum page, it's the one with the title Problem with posting a review failing that you could've just put 'can't post a review' in the very handy search function. Though I have to admit I stopped checking after the first 5 results that give the answer so I'm not sure if they all do.

The answer to all your questions are there, you just have to look.

At the risk of pissing on your parade, it's a known site issue, as such it is a fault with the site.

As for Stickies, experienced webmasters know they tend to get ignored, deleting them was one of the first changes Admin made when he took over the site from Nik  :hi:

I know it's a known issue, how many post have there been about it?

Just my opinion but I think any question posted should start with the words "I've tried searching but can't find the answer", simply typing the words 'can't post a review' in the search function brings all the answers, is that really too much to ask.   :unknown:

Well thank you for such warm, friendly and helpful advice, sorry we can't all be internet forum experts and therefore unsure about where to go for assistance.
For information, I wasn't "winging about the site" as you might see from my original post I acknowledge that it was just as likely I was doing (or had done) something wrong.

Insulting "newbies" or the less Tech-savvy seems a strange way to encourage forum use...

Just curious, is there any reason you can't use to search function to try and find answers before posting questions.   :unknown: Typing four words into the search box is quicker than starting a thread and reveals a page full of answers to this problem.

There's even this thread on the same page as this which also gives the answer. - https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?topic=260970.0     posted 8th Sept 5 days before yours.

Being a member of a gym doesn't make you an expert on using all the equipment
I'm taking about newbies in terms of experience with forums, either way the insulting comments from DM and SM were totally unnecessary. I'm sure I have areas of expertise they know nothing about but wouldn't dream of behaving in that way. We all learn at different speeds. .

Can you point out where I insulted you.    :unknown:  I pointed out there's a stickie on the subject and that a simple search reveals the answer.

Yes, I've been a member for a while, doesn't automatically give me knowledge on how to use the forum in the best possible way.

I don't know what's rattled your cage so much about a simple request for assistance, okay so there were other ways to do so that either were not so obvious to me or less helpful. The results from the search box, as you point out yourself, were not very helpful. The Sticky I only discovered after it was mentioned here and not exactly in the most obvious place. Under General discussion of UK Escorts and Massage rather than under Announcements Forum Information and General Information for Members which in my humble non-expert view seems more obvious. If you feel thats a criticism of the site, so be it, its simply a comment.

I appreciate any and all assistance but strongly object to the insults simply because I am not as familiar with internet forums as others. We all earn from different starting points and at different speeds

Is there a how to use this forum guide anywhere as there is nothing under Forum Information and General Information for Members

That's not what he said, in fact it was the opposite

you could've just put 'can't post a review' in the very handy search function. Though I have to admit I stopped checking after the first 5 results that give the answer so I'm not sure if they all do.

You could consider winding your neck in

Or maybe ask for a refund of your membership fees  :unknown:

You don't need to be, you just need to read the instructions, then if you don't understand ask.

Curious thing to me is that the OP was tech savvy enough to post a screenshot in his first submission here, but can't use the search facility

Something doesn't add up

Maybe his user nic is a clue that he's a returning member - smells trollish either way

You come across as a total fucking bell end, does your Mother still have to wipe your arse for you, or do you require toilet paper with instructions on each sheet  :dash:

As for asking, that's all I thought I was doing with the original post.

If I misconstrued your comment about  "yet another one whinging that the site isn't easy enough for you" and apparent agreement with SM's comments as insulting.... considering other comments in the thread since, maybe I overreacted as they pale in comparison.

When typing into the search box "cant post review" I may have mistyped the can't without the apostrophe and in that light did misinterpret your comment about the same. My mistake.

Either way, thanks for the information.
I'm not completely useless with technology but this is actually the first forum I've joined and I'm learning slowly, hence the low number of posts.
Whatever I think could be improved with the site, its still a lot better than the 'bad old days' of answering ads in newspapers and hoping for a good result.

Without the reading the instructions or searching first.

Number 2 in the list when you type 'cant post a review' so even without the apostrophe the answer is still there.
