I'm a big VR user so thought I'd drop my two pennies worth in case it helps anyone.
I have the valve index VR system which was the best at the time i bought it . It's still top 3 even like 3 or 4 years later but there are strong rumours the Valve index 2 is due for release in the next year so worth waiting for that.
In terms of content, I have lifetime subscriptions to: Virtual Taboo, DarkRoomVR, WankzVR, Badoink and will get a lifetime soon with vrporn.com
Virtual Taboo and Darkroom are by the same company and are out of this world if any of the kinks they fearture pique your interest. Very highly recommended.
vrporn.com is by far the best value, at £75 per year it aggregates ALOT of content from pretty much all the big VR studios as well as a lot of ones you will never have heard of. This is definitely the best place to start. Worth a years suscription to see how you get on and then go from there.
Wankzvr includes milffv and povr originals content, as well as latinaVR. They used to include many more but these all fell by the wayside. latinavr is also included with vrporn.com and they actually get relases before wankzvr. I find i only enjoy maybe 20% of the content they produce. Go check out the comments underneath their videos and you'll see they constantly have problems with scene content, file availability, and quality of the scenes. If i went back in time I'm not sure i'd have subscribed.
Badoink was by far the biggest let down - its one scene weekly and it's always the EXACT SAME bland scene just with a different girl. Very rarely do they do ANYTHING interesting at all. Regret getting this one. Badoink is part of the same group as 18vr, cosplayvr and bdsmVR. But you DONT get them as well, you have to pay again. I tried to subscribe to 18vr through my badoink subscription as it gets $100 off but the link was broken. Reached out to their support, never heard from them. Guess they dont want my money...
Other sites to check out: Sexbabesvr is a staple and i subscribed annually for a while, but most of their content is now on vrporn.com which is cheaper with way more content. cosplayvr is great in theory but in practice its just boring scenarios like badoink but with stupidly fake looking clothes on that dont come off. LustrealityVR is another one i subscribed to but is in vrporn.com a lot so dropped my sub when i got vrporn.com.
Storage: storage can be an issue but with a PC the best thing I did was buy a 8tb SSD (the old style that are getting cheaper an cheaper) and slotted than into one of my pc's spare hard drive ports. non-m2 SSDs are still plenty fast enough for even 8k content i have found, and negates all the problems discussed above. This is the other reason I'd advise against dipping your toes in VR with cheapy all-in-one headsets, they just arent as good because of file storage issues in my opinion.
GAMES: I use it a lot for games, if you are at all into space flight, flight simulators, or motor car racing, then you must check out the games that feature it. I've put hundreds of hours into flight simulator and racing formula 1 or classic ferrari cars.
When i break down my overall spend on VR and divide it by my hourly use on porn and games it ends up being less than £1 per hour and always getting cheaper. Yes you already need a high end computer to get the most out of it, which I already had, but if you do have a decent PC then take the plunge and get the absolute best headset you can and use the fuck out of it for years to get your moneys worth. If you are onsidering it then I would start researching now and deffo take the plunge when the index 2 comes out.
