Years and years ago I went into a TCM to give acupuncture a go as I was suffering with some muscular pain and someone recommended it. First time I went a man in a white coat did the needles and the second time I went I asked him if I could have a massage after, and in stepped his female assistant who gave me a massage and a quick tug at the end! Not sure if that helps you, but a TCM might be the best bet. The acupuncture seemed to give me some relief so I'd do it again if I had similar problems.
