I bossed over quite a number of educated to degree level young people.
Some who had been given a golden opportunity to advance themselves and others who got their degree in something so useless.... surely they would have known it would be of no help to them in the job they eventually did take up.

I think what you are looking for is way too specific. I don't even think I've ever punted a teen, although some are in their early 20's.
